OTHER INFORMATION
QUESTIONNAIRE
RIGHT TO LIFE
Human life begins at conception and deserves legal protection at every stage until natural death.
Neutral
Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds or grants from federal, state, or local governments.
Strongly Agree
Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?
I believe that there is no objectively correct moral answer to this issue, and that both sides of the argument genuinely believe in the morality of their opinions. As a Libertarian, I believe government should stay out of the debate.
ECONOMY
It is the government’s responsibility to be sure everyone has a livable income.
Strongly Disagree
Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.
Strongly Agree
Congress should pass a balanced budget amendment to the Constitution.
Strongly Agree
What role should government play in boosting the economy?
The government should not play any role in boosting the economy, as there is nothing beneficial the government can do. Printing more money is only a temporary solution, and creates a bubble in the market that eventually bursts and drives down the value of the dollar and the standard of living.
What changes should be made to the tax code?
I believe in the complete elimination of the tax code, and a drastic cut in the budget commensurate with the decrease in revenue. I believe in a return to consumption taxes as the founders intended. Income tax was originally unconstitutional, but the United States had every type of infrastructure that we enjoy today but without the burden of a runaway government.
What is the best way to bring down unemployment?
The best way to bring down unemployment is the abolition of the minimum wage. Setting a price floor on labor causes the quantity demanded to decrease, and the quantity supplied to increase. This creates a shortage of jobs and a surplus of labor, and creates unemployment. Further, those that are most affected are those who minimum wage laws are mostly meant to protect.
How would you guarantee Social Security benefits for future generations?
I believe in the eventual phasing out of social security in favor of private options for investment, which yield greater returns in the long run.
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
Governments should not discriminate against individuals, organizations or small businesses because of their belief that marriage is only a union of one man and one woman.
Strongly Agree
Governments should define marriage as between one man and one woman; no other definition of marriage should be legalized or supported with taxpayer or public funds.
Strongly Disagree
Religious liberty is at risk in the United States and deserves the highest level of protection in the law.
Strongly Agree
HEALTHCARE
It is the government’s responsibility to be sure everyone has health insurance.
Strongly Disagree
How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?
I would support the complete privatization of all healthcare-related subjects. Government intrusion and subsidies drive up the cost of healthcare. I would encourage physicians and others to commit to volunteer to help those in need, and also encourage charities to assist those that cannot afford healthcare.
NATIONAL SECURITY
I am in favor of construction of a wall and other necessary infrastructure on our border that gives complete control over entering and exiting the United States.
Disagree
The United States should help defend Israel from attack by its enemies.
Disagree
Islamic law (Sharia) should take precedence over national and state laws where there are Islamic majority communities in the U. S.
Strongly Disagree
I support sanctuary cities.
Neutral
The United States should protect its sovereignty from the United Nations.
Strongly Agree
The best way to maintain peace is through a strong military.
Agree
What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of radical Islamic terrorism?
I believe the United States should stop invading foreign nations and breeding new terrorists. We should also stop arming radical groups who then turn around and use the weapons on us. I believe we should enforce the laws at home, and that all citizens should be prepared to defend their lives and others in the event of an attack.
EDUCATION
Tuition-free public education should be guaranteed through college.
Strongly Disagree
VALUES
Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which permitted our system of limited government.
Neutral
People should be allowed to use public restrooms, showers, and changing rooms based on "gender identity."
Neutral
What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers in the Constitution?
Human nature is to desire power over others and to try to impose one's will upon others. The founders tried (and failed) to limit the ability of a tyrannical government to rise, but also ensured that the citizens could fight back if it did.
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
Personally, I am atheist. But I believe that every person has the right to whatever beliefs and values they want as long as they do not infringe on the rights of others.
ABOUT YOU
I voted in these primaries and general elections:
None of them
When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and immigration, which of the following best describes you overall?
Moderate
Please provide publicly available information validating your answer to the previous question.
I believe that the conservative/liberal categorization is a false dichotomy. There are parties that do not fit this spectrum, for example the Libertarian party, which fits along another axis - that of freedom/tyranny.
What education or experience qualifies you to hold the office for which you seek election?
I have a solid economic background, am relatively well-versed in political philosophies, and am currently seeking a law degree. I believe in a limited government, which makes voting on most issues relatively easy.

Is there anything else you would like voters to know about you?
I will fight harder than anyone to ensure that Americans retain all the rights that were assured to them in the Constitution, and will do everything I can to keep the boot of government off the throats of all. I will only fight for increased freedom and will not sell out to political interests.
CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY
I support the death penalty.
Neutral
2ND AMENDMENT
More restrictive gun control is needed to protect public safety.
Strongly Disagree
OTHER IMPORTANT ISSUES
Additional regulations are needed to prevent climate change.
Strongly Disagree
It is OK for Congress to exempt itself from compliance with laws applicable to all citizens.
