QUESTIONNAIRE
RIGHT TO LIFE
Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).
Strongly Agree
If Federal funding is provided, we, in effect are forcing some tax payers to pay for something they do not support, an my even oppose due to their 1st Amendment protected rights.
I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.
Strongly Agree
People should be free to chose how they wish to end their lives.
Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?
I believe the woman has God given free will to chose how she handles her pregnancy. Therefore any and all circumstances should be allowed by the US Federal Government. However, at the point in time where the fetus can survive outside of the mother's womb, then he/she should be considered a person and if the mother or any one else decides to terminate this medically viable life at that point, it should be considered murder.
ECONOMY
Redistribution of income is needed to lessen the gap between the wealthy and working classes.
Strongly Disagree
We all have the God given right to work hard to better ourselves and become as wealthy as we are willing to work for in the US. The US Federal Government continues to convince people its acceptable not to work, with all the welfare, aid, and unemployment programs it has created over the years. All of these programs must be ended.
The government should cut spending in order to reduce the national debt.
Strongly Agree
This is the number one priority at this time in our nation's history. We are nearly 31 Trillion dollars in debt, and its only a matter of time before the lenders demand repayment in full, and when we can't pay there will be either war or a complete collapse of our economy or both.
What changes, if any, should be made to the tax code?
Abolish the entire tax code. A tax on income is a punishment for working hard and making money. No wonder we have such a problem with people not wanting to work. If we must have a tax, it should be based on consumption, not income!
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
Religious liberty is at risk in the United States and deserves the highest level of protection in the law.
Strongly Agree
Its already in the Bill of Rights, just need to make sure the Government does its job and protects it!
Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.
Strongly Disagree
Freedom of choice does not just apply to a pregnant woman.
What should be the relationship between the church and the state?
None. But the state should protect the church's right to exist and operate freely.
HEALTHCARE
Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?
NONE
What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D)Tax-payer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be de-funded.
D) Tax-payer funded health care should be abolished as Healthcare is not function of the US Federal Government, per the US Constitution.
NATIONAL SECURITY
With regard to America's foreign policy, which view most closely resembles yours: A) The United States should intervene whenever freedom is threatened. B) The United States should selectively help countries trying to grow democracy and fight tyranny. C) The United States has become too involved in others' policies and should remain focused on issues regarding our own sovereignty unless in imminent danger. D) The United States should stay out of foreign conflicts completely.
D) The US should stay out of foreign conflicts completely. Please read the US Constitution the Army is for the defense of the nation. Just our nation, not our interests abroad.
I support the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement to pressure Israel to withdraw from occupied territories, remove the separation barrier in the West Bank, allow full equality for Arab-Palestinian citizens of Israel, and promote the rights of Palestinian refugees.
Strongly Disagree
I just said, stay out of foreign conflicts.
The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber security, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States.
Neutral
The US Government has created many enemies with its foreign policies over many years. We should defend ourselves from all enemies.
What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of Islamic terrorism?
As I just stated, defend ourselves from all enemies (at or within our borders).
IMMIGRATION
The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.
Agree
Unfortunately, there are enemies of the US that use our current porous borders to gain access and threaten our great nation. However, we should encourage a free labor market by allowing anyone who is coming to the US for a job, may do so.
State and federal funds shall be denied to any public or private entity, such as a sanctuary city, that is not in compliance with immigration laws.
Strongly Agree
Our current laws must be enforced, until changed.
Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?
Anyone who seeks to become a peaceful, productive member of our society.
VALUES
Sexual orientation and gender identity should be protected classes in non-discrimination laws.
Strongly Disagree
We are all free to choose how we wish to live, and what we do to our bodies. There is no reason to have special protected classes.
I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.
Strongly Disagree
Again, we are all free to choose how we wish to think. If someone commits a crime towards another, we have laws already in place to handle this. Teach people the laws and provide punishment when they break them.
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
I am a born again Christian, saved by the blood of Jesus Christ, and seek to become more like him everyday until he returns.
ELECTIONS AND VOTING
People should be able to vote without photo identification.
Strongly Disagree
Unfortunately there are too many people that would seek to cheat the system. We must have a way to ensure 1 person, 1 vote, and that you are the person you say you are when you provide that vote.
What laws would you propose to change present voting practices?
We have sufficient laws. They need to be enforced.
EQUALITY
Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.
Strongly Disagree
Our nations past has some terrible things in it. The past should remain in the past and we should all move forward.
Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?
Racism is NOT a threat to domestic security. Our own Government and Media keep trying to make us think its a problem bigger than it is, to keep us divided. It is easier to control a populace that is divided than one that is united in its demand for freedom and that all be treated equally, as our Declaration of Independence so states.
ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT
I support the use of hydraulic fracking to extract oil and natural gas resources.
Neutral
Private citizens, and/or private companies should be able to do what they wish with the land they own, as long as they are not polluting someone else's land, water, etc. If a technique can be done responsibly, it is not mine or the Federal Governments job to say they can't from some arbitrary reason.
Which comes closest to your view? A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. B) Stricter environmental laws and regulations are worth the cost.
A) Stricter laws and regulations hurt the economy, no matter what type of law or regulation, not just environmental ones.
ABOUT YOU
When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?
Choose not to answer
You have only provided a 2-point scale, when actually there are 4. I am very conservative on economic issues, and I am very liberal on social issues. The 2 other points of the 4-point system are authoritarian and libertarian. I am 100% Libertarian.
Please provide publicly available information, including interviews and media reports, validating your answer to the previous question (other than your website).
Other candidate questionnaires easily found via a Google search, as this is now my 6th time running for Congress, and I have completed many surveys over the years. My views have not changed.
Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized in either civil or criminal court for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.
No.
What else would you like voters to know about you, including your legislative priorities?
We must cut spending. That is the only way to bring inflation in check and reduce the size and scope of the Federal Government, thereby restoring freedoms to the people.
CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY
Police officers should be personally immune from prosecution for conduct consistent with departmental policy (qualified immunity) while on duty.
Strongly Disagree
No one is above the law.
I support redirecting funds from police departments to mental health and community programs.
Choose not to answer
Local police departments should be funded or not funded by local governments, not the Federal Government. Each local community can and should decide where they want to focus their efforts and funds.
2ND AMENDMENT
What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?
NONE! Read the Constitution! Hint: Its the 2nd Amendment, in what is called the Bill of Rights! And is says something like "shall not be infringed."
Victims of gun violence should be able to sue firearms dealers and manufacturers.
Strongly Disagree
People choose to kill people with a weapon or even their own bodies. Who made the weapon (gun, knife, baseball bat, whatever) is not relevant. The person who committed the terrible crime of murder(s) should be punished to the full extent of the state law.
