Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

When God allows his own son to die - I'd say that is abortion that should be allowed. When the military aborts missions that kill other humans that should definitely be allowed and encouraged. Aborting a edible animal life that is perfectly good protein, and tastes good grilled, is a hard one, because animals will outnumber us very quickly and being a vegan and/or vegetarian is not an easy lifestyle choice. Many "animals" kill their young if there isn't the resources to care for it... right or wrong; I couldn't do it. I have faith that there is always enough, and that scarcity is not a part of the current human condition. I feel contraception should be more in the hands of man, as in voluntary vasectomies, and the "reversal" should be easier, cheaper, and more common. That way when a man really wants to be a papa, has found a suitable mother, a tribe of other similar minded family and friends, a suitable income, etcetera...then he can procreate, educate, and prosper.

What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of radical Islamic terrorism?

Love them! Are you my friend, my neighbor, or my enemy? What would have happened if we turned the other cheek after 9-11? We could have saved, or spent the (still counting) trillions of dollars we have spent "fighting terror" on something else. Afghanistan, Iraq; which Muslim nation should we attack next? We could have given all that money to Israel, the radical Jewish state, and re-built the temple, or perhaps persuaded Jerusalem to build an Abrahamic theme park, with Big 3 attractions to attract the masses? We could have moved Washington D.C. to Kansas, to S.F, and back....Anything besides creating more religious extremists. Fear is the opposite of Love, and attacking is not always the best reaction, and often causes more harm than good. If we are to set an example for the world, it will be that we appreciate the diversity of each culture, and the uniqueness of each individual...After all, the same God made us that way

What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers in the Constitution?

The ability to change is the true power of America and our Constitution. There wasn't an internet, the ability to fill out an ivoterguide survey back then, only a constitutional convention. Similar to the council of Nicea, the convention determined what was "in and what was out." The Apocrypha, Dead Sea Scrolls, NIV, KJV, whatever you like is okay with me. The Constitution will be changed, I want it to give more power back to the people... and in this information age, it is bound to happen

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I believe in God, the higher power, who likes to remain a mystery, and seems to go by more than one name. I like "The Big Wow," or "I am," but mostly I call her God. She probably is a woman, as "we" are considered to be created in her likeness. Given we were all XX chromosomal speaking, before some of us changed to XY. Hopefully he/she has a sense of humor:) I love Jesus, he was a rebel, and my personal relationship is deeply personal. I read the Bible, and I read other manuscripts unabashed. I try to follow the golden rule, and Jesus' 2 commandments to Love God, and Love neighbor...I like the serenity prayer...which inspires my run for Congress...however I believe separation of church and state is paramount, and should remain that way... I do deep breathing exercises inspired by Wim Hof almost daily, and every shower has some cold water involved.

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and immigration, which of the following best describes you overall?

No Answer

Please provide publicly available information validating your answer to the previous question.

Libertarians are fiscally "conservative" economically speaking, and socially "liberal," so I can't answer your question properly. Actually some might say we are so far "right" we end up "left." We don't like Big Spending Governments which both Democrats and yes, Republicans tend to support. We don't like regulations or tariffs. We LOVE the Free Market! We don't like the word "liberal" and prefer to be called socially "tolerant," which makes socially conservative folks "socially intolerant," which seems fitting. We don't think the government should be involved in who you marry, or what you do with your body, what church, or lack of church you attend, how you want to "peacefully assemble." We believe in individual freedom!

How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?

What is truly adequate, and affordable healthcare is different for each person. There are 350 million + people in America with an assortment of healthcare problems. Each one of them had an ancestor that died as a direct result of being human. The healthcare industry did not exist until recently, how in the world did we make it? Did you know almost all pharmaceuticals are derived from nature? What is the true cause of an ailment, or disease, and how can we address this cause more effectively? Healing can occur spontaneously, and even miraculously sometimes, and we all seem to believe in that, yet preventative care, and a good plant based diet are just too hard to fathom.

What role should government play in boosting the economy?

Well we all know War is good for the economy...it pulled us out of the "Great Depression" so they say...We like to call it "Defense," but I'm not sure that is the proper definition. I don't think permanent wartime was what Americans had in mind for "Defense". It makes up the majority of our spending, and it boosts some portion of our economy undoubtedly, but at what cost? Balancing the budget, or having a surplus would be a great boost to the economy. Spending money we don't have to try to boost industries, or companies, or make them too big to fail is bad policy. Free Market works best, just let it do it's job and try to keep Big Gov.Inc out of it.

What changes should be made to the tax code?

In an information age there is no reason to continue to allow the two party system to continue to be in charge of taxing and spending. Libertarians hate taxes, but we likely can't get rid of them completely, so I think giving at least some percentage of the spending back to the people would be a more adequate check and balance.

What is the best way to bring down unemployment?

Job training and/or re-training can be expensive especially in the traditional college sense, however that can, and should change in the information age. I like the idea of a job swap portal where people could switch jobs, or could get hired for jobs quicker and easier. Often people get stuck in one line of work, and either the demand for the job changes, or they just get tired of doing the same thing and want a change. If you were to swap with someone, or apprentice someone that might help your employer(s) and all parties involved. Ultimately the free market would determine demand. By lessening restrictions on movement, and with a little effort, a smooth transition could occur. Also, taking samples of peoples urine should not be a pre-requisite for employment. One day, that will be considered gross, and unreasonable.

How would you guarantee Social Security benefits for future generations?

I can't, it is a Ponzi scheme.

What education or experience qualifies you to hold the office for which you seek election?

I meet the constitutional requirements for Age and Citizenship. I collected enough signatures to be on the ballot without paying the $1740 filing fee. I have raised/spent less than any other congressional candidate currently running, and therefore I am given the least chance of winning. I refuse to buy your vote with advertising. I like being the underdog, the wild-cat, the mustard seed. I'm not raising money, I am only raising eyebrows. If you want to vote for me, it will be my job to go to Washington D.C. to represent you, not that we are exactly alike, but I guarantee you we have something in common. No way you might say, well carry yourself to the voting station and vote Repubocrat/Demopublican like you have been doing all your life, and I will stay here in the beauty and grandeur of WNC, as my consolation prize.

Is there anything else you would like voters to know about you?

I was born in North Carolina, in the United States of America. I don't remember choosing where I was born, but I know that voters consider that important. My utmost for his highest is being written not in red or blue, but in white, indivisible ink. If you can read it, you will feel it. I surrender to the Way, and I will always follow it, surrender to it, have awe for it, and try like crazy to not define it. ...I have one hand in my pocket...the other one is giving a peace sign. If you have the opportunity to fill in the oval next to my name at the top of the ballot you should.
