Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?
When the health of the mother is at risk, including mental health from the trauma of being a victim of rape or incest.
What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of radical Islamic terrorism?
First, off we should concentrate on not creating more terrorist. We have been at war in Iraq and Afghanistan for more than 17 years and have only seen terrorist numbers go up. Luckily for us, we have not seen this equate with attacks on our soil, however every time we drop a bomb on someone in Afghanistan we create at least 4 more terrorists from their immediate family. At this point I am not sure what the right answer is, however, what we have been doing for the last 17 years has only created more casualties for America with more than 7,000 US soldiers dead from Afghanistan and Iraq alone, 55,000+ wounded US soldiers and a suicide rate from PTSD that is expected to be higher this year than US Troops that will be killed in combat in Syria.
What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers in the Constitution?
The belief that people were meant to rule government, not have government rule the people. That we have certain rights as humans that should never be impeded on.
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
I was raised in an evangelical Christian home. I attended a combination of Episcopal and Catholic Schools growing up. My wife and I participate in ministry outreach, including mission work. I am an avid fan of reading the Bible, I love to study it in both Hebrew, and Greek, I find the Hebrew to be so rich in meaning, which can sometimes be lost in the English.
When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and immigration, which of the following best describes you overall?
Very Conservative
Please provide publicly available information validating your answer to the previous question.
I am not a public figure or a politician, so I only would have my website to describe or validate who I am. Even when we look at the Issue of Medical Cannabis, it is a very conservative ideal to take a natural, God-given plant that can intervene medically without further damaging the person. The prohibition against it is not conservative in nature, it is totalitarian. Doing what is right to help people is at the very core of conservatism. I feel that we must reform Immigration, starting with work Visas. We need to get out agriculture workforce up and strong to compete on the world stage. The foreign policy should change to have other countries lead or assist in equal part in any police action we take on the world stage. We for too long have shouldered the cost of this in both money and the blood of our children.
How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?
We need to repeal Obama care in its entirety and start with open insurance markets. We also need to look at the price difference that we pay for services in comparison to our partner nations. New business models are gaining traction like HSA's, as viable options and should be encouraged. We also need a bridgeable minimum limit policy that can be used as a rider for people transitioning off of welfare that can be in force through any pre-existing conditions time period, If we don't eliminate pre-conditions altogether.
What role should government play in boosting the economy?
The biggest role the government can play is to help deregulate in places that are stalling innovation without sacrificing our environment. Then get out of the way. An open and free market is the best possible way to boost the economy. We have a 21 Trillion-dollar debt because of the government trying to boost the economy the bureaucratic way.
What changes should be made to the tax code?
I think that Alexander Hamilton got it right in Federalist 21 in using a compulsory tax system. In Hamilton words, "in political arithmetic, two and two do not always make four.' If duties are too high, they lessen the consumption; the collection is eluded; and the product to the treasury is not so great as when they are confined within proper and moderate bounds."
What is the best way to bring down unemployment?
Smart deregulation to allow manufacturing to flourish is a good start. Most people want to work and prosper, but if companies can't open or remain operational due to overzealous regulation then unemployment will stagnate without new industry.
How would you guarantee Social Security benefits for future generations?
Congress has miss managed Social Security for so long, I am not sure we can guarantee it's existence in the future. If we are to try, we need to move it back to a Trust and take it out of the treasury. We then need to look at offering an opt-out where people can utilize private investments to create a safety net for themselves.
What education or experience qualifies you to hold the office for which you seek election?
I firmly believe that it is not your education that qualifies you to serve as a citizen legislator, it is your moral compass. What is important to the person seeking office? Are they going there to fill their pockets with the lobby and special interest money, or are they intent on serving the people who sent them there? If it is the latter instead of the former, then I am the right choice to send to Congress rather than peddling a pedigree.

Is there anything else you would like voters to know about you?
I have lived in South Dakota most of my life. In 1996 I met my incredible wife who gave me the greatest gift of my life, our three wonderful children. I have a background in sales, property recovery, insurance, law enforcement, construction and property maintenance. I cut my teeth in investigations when working in property recovery and fugitive recovery. Attention to detail and having the ability to sort facts from fiction were critical for everything that I have done. I worked in construction as my primary job until my son Eliyah was born. Due to his life-threatening disability, I had to become a full-time caregiver for him. This included not only taking care of his insurmountable needs but also tackling the complications in obtaining the resources needed for his care. All of these experiences have culminated in what has become the most important job I have ever done: becoming an advocate for thousands of sick and disabled children, adults, and veterans.
