The need for balance.

I believe in a supreme being. I was raised as a Catholic, now practice as an Episcopalian. I do not believe in forcing my religion on anyone.

I believe it is in our best interest to support self-sufficiency when possible. I do believe in legal immigration, especially when our employers need workers with certain skills. I strongly believe that we need a reformed prison system.

What is the best way to bring down unemployment?

Offer good satisfying jobs where employees are respected and offered opportunities for advancement when earned.

How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?

Encourage more preventive health measures. Make drugs reasonably priced. Provide incentives for companies to insure employees. Make it easier for patients to make cash payments when not covered by insurance.

What role should government play in boosting the economy?

Realize that debt is often dangerous and creates instability. Realize that clean air and water lowers health care costs, and creates incentives for population growth and development.

What education or experience qualifies you to hold the office for which you seek election?

I have been in health care for more than 40 years. I am a small business owner. I own a successful real estate development company, and small publishing company.
