OTHER INFORMATION
QUESTIONNAIRE
RIGHT TO LIFE
Human life begins at conception and deserves legal protection at every stage until natural death.
Strongly Agree
Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds or grants from federal, state, or local governments.
Strongly Agree
I support the Born Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act, which requires health care providers to provide life-saving treatment for infants who survive an attempted abortion.
Strongly Agree
Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?
Under no conditions should abortion be allowed!
ECONOMY
It is the government’s responsibility to ensure everyone has a livable income.
Strongly Disagree
Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.
Strongly Agree
How would you guarantee Social Security benefits for future generations?
Despite enormous structural problems that far predated COVID-19, it is possible to make Social Security solvent and put Americans on a stronger financial footing. Many Americans—older ones, in particular—are concerned about the effects of a payroll tax deferral on Social Security’s viability. They can rest assured, the deferral will have only a tiny impact, if any, on Social Security’s finances. While the executive order on payroll tax deferral will not affect Social Security, deficit-financed payroll tax cuts are not an effective way to boost this economy. Making Social Security more targeted will secure the program’s viability, reduce payroll taxes, increase personal wealth, and restore confidence in the U.S. economy.
What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?
Given our national debt is at least 26 trillion and climbing, everything has to be on the table. We must take a fair and balanced approach to debt reduction but it must happen immediately. Our national debt is one of if not the, biggest national security risk to our country.
Under what circumstances should taxpayers help pay off existing student loans?
Under no circumstances should taxpayers help pay off the existing student debt. I would consider an offset for some sort of public service.
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
Governments should not discriminate against individuals, organizations or small businesses because of their belief that marriage is only a union of one man and one woman.
Strongly Agree
Religious liberty is at risk in the United States and deserves the highest level of protection in the law.
Strongly Agree
I promise to protect the freedom of Christians to share the Gospel and to practice Biblical principles.
Yes
What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?
Although the words “separation of church and state” do not appear in the First Amendment, the establishment clause was intended to separate church from state. The establishment clause separates church from state, but not religion from politics or public life. Individual citizens are free to bring their religious convictions into the public arena. But the government is prohibited from favoring one religious view over another or even favoring religion over non-religion.
HEALTHCARE
It is the government’s responsibility to ensure everyone has health insurance.
Strongly Disagree
I support the elimination of private healthcare insurance.
Strongly Disagree
How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?
The Government should not be in ghe business of providng health care. # things need to happen to reduce health care costs ion this country. 1, reduce the barrier to entry so multiple insurance carriers can provide Products to consumers. Provide more transparency in costs. Allow the consumer to "shop" for the best product for them as a consumer. Incentivize innovation. Innovation breeds competition, which will bring down health care costs.
NATIONAL SECURITY
The best way to maintain peace is through a strong military.
Strongly Agree
What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of radical Islamic terrorism?
Work with partners across the globe to identify, isolate, and mitigate any potential Islamic terrorism.
IMMIGRATION
I am in favor of construction of a wall and other necessary infrastructure on our border that gives complete control over entering and exiting the United States.
Strongly Agree
Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) should be abolished.
Strongly Disagree
State and federal funds should be denied to any public or private entity, including but not limited to sanctuary cities, that are not in compliance with immigration laws.
Strongly Agree
Employers should be required to use E-verify to confirm the eligibility of their employees to work in the United States.
Strongly Agree
Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?
Anyone should be allowed to immigrate to the US, LEGALLY! Circumstances will be based on individual scenarios, but we are a land of laws, we're not currently following theme and we need to get back to them.
EDUCATION
Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.
Strongly Disagree
VALUES
Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which is necessary for our system of limited government.
Strongly Agree
I support adding sexual orientation, gender identity and gender expression as protected classes in non-discrimination laws.
Strongly Disagree
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
I am a man grounded in my catholic faith.
ABOUT YOU
When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and immigration, which of the following best describes you overall?
Conservative
Please provide publicly available information validating your answer to the previous question.
I believe in smaller limited federal Government; I believe in States having a bigger role in determining what is in their best interest; Strong national defense, Pro-Life;
Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.
No
Is there anything else you would like voters to know about you?
I understand the role of a Congressman, which is to listen to their constituents. I will always come back to New Hampshire to listen to everyone and work with the Governor to ensure their voices are heard in Washington D.C.
CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY
Mandatory minimum sentencing should be required and enforced for violent crimes.
Neutral
2ND AMENDMENT
What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?
There are over 10,000 gun laws already, both federal and state. These are not preventing these heinous acts from happening across our country. So clearly it is not gun laws which need changing. It is the recognition of the mental health issue we have in this country. We need to look at the root cause as to why individuals will resort to these acts and not the instrument of choice.
OTHER IMPORTANT ISSUES
I support BDS (boycott, divestment, and sanction) against Israel if they refuse to allow the creation of a Palestinian state.
Strongly Disagree
I support the legalization of recreational marijuana.
Strongly Disagree
Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.
Strongly Disagree
The Electoral College should be abolished.
Strongly Disagree
In priority order, what three areas of legislation do you propose to author or sponsor if elected?
First piece of legislation will be to start reducing debt. The second one will be to amend the national "Amber" alert system to incorporate the color "green" to help veterans who often times go missing. Lastly, I would introduce legislation to stop the reliance of the United States on critical products from China and other countries.
Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?
Racism is not a threat to our domestic national security. It is unfortunate there are individuals who maintain racist ideas, but this is not a national crisis. However, various groups which rally under the guise of addressing racism are in fact a threat to domestic national security.
