Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?
Abortion should be allowed in situations where the mother's life is in danger due to the pregnancy and in situations of rape.
What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of radical Islamic terrorism?
Domestically, the government should proactively work with social media providers to limit the spread of propaganda from terrorists. Internationally, the government should use aid and development to support underdeveloped countries to avoid the potential influence of terrorists. If necessary, military force should be used to go after terrorists to disrupt their organizations.
What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers in the Constitution?
Greed and thirst for power led the founding fathers to utilize the separation of powers. This is a key tenant of the success of our country.
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
I am a Christian and I believe that most religions have a similar set of values as a foundation. This includes empathy for your fellow man which I feel many of our elected officials often forget.

How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?
We need to evaluate how insurance companies, drug manufacturers, and hospitals work together to be efficient and keep costs down. Increased competition may be necessary if costs continue to rise. Incentives or requirements for preventative healthcare may help decrease costs by catching illnesses early.
What role should government play in boosting the economy?
In most situations the government should not be involved in boosting the economy. Exceptions to this include when the economy is in recession or depression and in supporting the growth of new technology, such as green energy.
What changes should be made to the tax code?
The tax code needs to be made simpler and fairer. Taxes should be simple enough that people can do them on their own, and the effective tax rates should be similar for similar groups, meaning that loopholes should be eliminated.
What is the best way to bring down unemployment?
Increased investment in education and workforce development will be the most effective in decreasing unemployment by retraining resources and expanding skills that employers find valuable.
How would you guarantee Social Security benefits for future generations?
Social security reform should combine a bi-partisan solution that includes raising and/or indexing the retirement age to average life expectancy as well as increasing the social security tax cap, even if higher values are at a lower rate.
What education or experience qualifies you to hold the office for which you seek election?
I have a uniquely diverse background that has given me experience and knowledge my opponents cannot match. I am a project manager for an international corporation, but am also a farmer and small business owner. This has given me first-hand knowledge of many of the issues facing our country.

Is there anything else you would like voters to know about you?
The most important job our elected officials have is to represent the interests of their district in Washington, and that is what I will do. The biggest problem in Washington today is the constant bickering. We need our representatives to work together on bi-partisan solutions to our biggest issues, and that is what I want to do when I go to Washington.
