Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?
Most circumstances. I think the only grey area in which an abortion shouldn't be allowed is late into a healthy pregnancy where the mother's life is not at any risk and the baby is healthy.
What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers in the Constitution?
I think its in human nature to want power and control. The Founders had that in mind when they separated and limited powers in the constitution so that power and control is not consolidated to one flawed human (because we are all flawed in certain ways).
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
I was raised Christian and went to church until I was 10 or so. I no longer practice or subscribe to a religion and my beliefs are more spiritual in nature.

I have ran two political campaigns fr very moderate democratic State Senators (Guy Palumbo and Steve Hobbs). I also worked as a legislative assistant to State Senator Palumbo for the past two legislative sessions.
What is the best way to bring down unemployment?
Its multifaceted. We need to incentivize employers to hire locally, helping train workers for the jobs in high demand (trades and STEM) and invest heavily in our state infrastructure. If we can relieve some of our transportation congestion we open up employment options for people to work further from their home.
How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?
I would like to work on moving our state closer to a state healthcare system so everyone can have access to sufficient healthcare.
What role should government play in boosting the economy?
The government can help assist businesses by providing a healthy and attractive climate for them to thrive. Also, we can help guide investments into future technologies as well as investments into our state infrastructure.
What education or experience qualifies you to hold the office for which you seek election?
I have spent years working down in Olympia as a staffer and know how the legislative process works. That combined with my elected experience on the Mill Creek City Council prepare me to have an immediate, positive impact as a legislator. I have seen both effective and ineffective legislators throughout my years in Olympia and have an understanding of what it takes to get real things accomplished.

Is there anything else you would like voters to know about you?
If elected, I will always remember that my role as a legislator is to represent my district and my constituency, not a political party. Too many legislators forget that and as a Snohomish County native, I have watched as neither party represents our region. I will make sure every decision I make is with the 44th district in mind.
