Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?
Rape and incest for certain. I am uncomfortable with abortion as a means of birth control, but within the first trimester is acceptable. Beyond that, it's difficult to support. There may be special case situations where it's appropriate.
What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers in the Constitution?
Our founding fathers based their beliefs on the idea of natural rights endowed to us by God.
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
I am a student of many religious beliefs and teachings. I have profound respect for spiritual people and experiences, and have had several, but I am equally distrustful of human institutions, so I don't choose to associate in a formal way with any church or religion.
When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and immigration, which of the following best describes you overall?
No Answer
Please provide publicly available information validating your answer to the previous question.
I'm a Libertarian, so depending on who you ask (or what issue you're talking about), I could be considered either very conservative or very liberal.
What is the best way to bring down unemployment?
Get government out of the process of picking winners and losers in the free market and over-regulating the economy. Lowering taxes helps, too.
How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?
I'd open the markets to price and service competition, eliminate the artificial barriers to selling insurance across state lines, radically reform the wasteful and inefficient government-run programs like Medicare & Medicaid, and put consumers in the driver's seat.
What role should government play in boosting the economy?
None, they should get out of the way and focus on a far more limited scope of responsibilities.
What education or experience qualifies you to hold the office for which you seek election?
I hold two Master's degrees, one in Business and the other in Labor Relations and Human Resources. I have nearly twenty years of experience in Fortune 500 companies, and a history of community service and volunteering that prepare me well for the challenge of holding public office.
