What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers in the Constitution?
The founding fathers had just fought a war for independence from the tyranny of the British. The equal but separate form of government allowed for each part of the three to have checks and balances without one branch having too much power there by ensuring each to have input into how the government wad to function. Most important of all it gave the power to the people through the republic ideals and the rights of the individual as oppose to mob rule.
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
I am a Devout Catholic. Thus is my faith. I believe in God, the Father Almighty, creator of Heaven and Earth and in Jesus Christ, His only son our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Potius Pilate, was crucified, died and was buried. He descended into Hell and on the third day He rose again from the dead. He ascended into Heaven and is seated at the right hand of God the Father Almighty, from thence He shall come again to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Holy Catholic Church, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body and life everlasting. Amen.
When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and immigration, which of the following best describes you overall?
Very Conservative
Please provide publicly available information validating your answer to the previous question.
History proves that free enterprise, capitalism and strong economic policies that promote growth by lowering taxes, reducing regulation which allows innovation, ideas and creativity. This leads to jobs, economic prosperity and the potential for wealth for the masses who choose to participate. A strong military allows for a prosperity, peace and personal freedoms. Government control of economic policy leads to disastrous results, as we have seen recently in Cuba, Venezuela and Greece to name a few.
What is the best way to bring down unemployment?
Promoting current industries and businesses that are already providing good paying jobs and promoting the development of new industries and technologies. Job creation is critical in that process. The private sector must be allowed to expand and flourish where transportation infrastructure must be maintained, upgraded and improved by government. Those ideals are what put people to work.
How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?
Allow for competition at all levels. Mandating that one must buy health insurance and penalize businesses is not the way to go about it.
What role should government play in boosting the economy?
Lower taxes Less regulation Promote industry and businesses with tax credits and incentives to build new factories and production facilities for job creation. Reduce restrictions on private property.
What education or experience qualifies you to hold the office for which you seek election?
My life experience as a member of a commercial fishing family, a family of immigrants and refugees who came here seeking a new and escaoe from religious persecution. I worked as a consultant and interpreter for US military forces in Bosnia as part of the NATO mission in the Balkans. My experiences wirking with former combatants and adversaries on the field of battle wirking to secure oeace in the region. I believe wirking with all levels of civic, military and international representatives gives me a unique and unmatched advantage in this race. I am a Union Carpenter who has been construction industry for 18 years and I am a a trustee, I am a delegated to from my Local to the Pacific Northwest Regional Council of Carpenters and a member of its executive board which represents six western states (ALASKA, IDAHO, MONTANA, OREGON,WASHINGTON and WYOMING) and 25,000 of our members and their families.
