Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?
As governor, I believe that I will be responsible for the safety of all Floridians. That includes our most vulnerable Floridians … the unborn. I will do everything in my power to reduce the number of abortions performed in Florida. It is disappointing that the Florida Supreme overturned the 24 hour waiting period passed by the legislature and signed by the Governor. I support parental notification in the case of a minor requesting an abortion, and requiring that a sonogram be performed in advance of any elective abortion procedure. State tax payer dollars should never be used in any way that facilitates abortion.
What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers in the Constitution?
Man is flawed and can have a tendency to want power. The separation of powers ensures that each power has a check and stays in balance.
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
My faith in God guides me in all things.
When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and immigration, which of the following best describes you overall?

What is the best way to bring down unemployment?
Eliminating barriers into the market will spur economic growth for businesses large and small. It is the surest way to attract businesses to relocate to Florida while at the same time enabling existing Florida businesses of all sizes to grow and create new jobs for Floridians. Let’s say NO to crony capitalism … No to corporate welfare … and No to the state picking winners and losers!
How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?
As governor, I will fight for waivers to opt out of Affordable Care regulations, such as the “essential benefits” requirement that drives up insurance premiums. We will seek out new and innovative ways to provide care for our most vulnerable. We will facilitate the expansion of direct primary care practices between doctors and patients and also the establishment of concierge medical practices.
What role should government play in boosting the economy?
For too long, the Governor and legislature have focused on luring large corporations to Florida with tax incentives and financial grants. These incentive programs have given special privileges to a few well-connected large corporations while existing small businesses and taxpayers have been left to pay the tab. Many of these subsidized businesses never create the jobs they promised and a some have even gone bankrupt before the state ever saw one job. This is our money that we will never get back. Florida can compete with any state in the nation without having to throw taxpayer dollars away in the process by creating an environment for business to flourish.
What education or experience qualifies you to hold the office for which you seek election?
I am a fourth generation Floridian with a passion for politics and an unwavering commitment to the Constitution and limited government. He serves as the Chairman of the Republican Liberty Caucus of Florida (RLCFL), Chairman of the Republican Liberty Caucus of Central East Florida (RLCCEF) and is the founder and former Chairman of the Liberty Catalyst Fund (LCF). The Liberty Catalyst Fund is an electioneering communications organization whose mission is to educate voters on issues of liberty, freedom, constitutional integrity and limited government. The LCF works to promote candidates that demonstrate a commitment to these principles and oppose candidates that do not.

Is there anything else you would like voters to know about you?
The people of Florida have lost their voice in Tallahassee. It’s been drowned out by politicians pandering to the dark money politics of special interest groups. Millions of dollars in campaign cash are being laundered through political committees (PCs) that are able to accept unlimited contributions from rich and powerful special interests. They make exorbitant donations to each other in order to keep the dark money off campaign finance reports, effectively hiding the source of the donations from the voter. Trust me, the politicians keep track of who they owe political favors to and legislate in their favor. There’s a much too powerful political class in Florida. It consists of the politicians, the lobbyists, and the rich and powerful corporations and special interests they represent. It’s an exclusive club and you’re not welcome. In Tallahassee, it’s their will be done, not yours. My campaign will be about changing that environment.
