14. Briefly list three (3) political or legislative issues of most concern to you, and explain why each is important to you.
1) The Federal Reserve System. We need to end this central bank. As has been the case of all central banks, money is being created and directed towards those connected with the central bank. Everyone else is hurt by this practice. It also damages the value of the dollar which depresses the markets. 2) End deficit spending. Government should not spend more than they have in revenue. Government borrowing competes with private borrowers which drives up interest rates. Further, the dollar is damaged as debt has become so large there is no means to pay it back. 3) Limited government. We have a Constitution which laid out a plan for a federal government. This federal government has exceeded its original limits and it has become a national government. Government is too big and intrusive. Reserving most domestic government to the states will be a better means towards having good government.
15. Should abortion be allowed under extenuating circumstances? If so, what circumstances?
Abortion concerns personal and private rights of health and reproduction. Government should not intrude upon unalienable rights such as a person's health and reproduction. I do not support a strict democracy where a slim majority can force their values upon a minority.
16. Based on the Declaration of Independence and the U.S. Constitution, please arrange the following entities, starting with the highest source of authority, and continue the list in descending order of authority, skipping any that do not apply: Academia, Congress, Constitution, God, Industry, Media, Professional Sports, Supreme Court, Voters.
People are the ultimate power and as voters are people they are the ultimate authority. For government construction: Constitution, Congress, Supreme Court. (though there are checks and balances between Congress and the Supreme Court)
17. Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
