QUESTIONNAIRE
RIGHT TO LIFE
Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?
Abortion should be considered only when the pregnancy poses a direct and imminent threat to the life of the mother.
Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).
Strongly Agree
I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.
Strongly Disagree
ECONOMY
What changes, if any, should be made to the tax code?
Florida's commercial lease tax should be eliminated, and an alternative to the gas tax should be studied and incorporated. The gas tax should be eliminated in favor of a more fair method of funding the construction and maintenance of our roads.
What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?
Identifying and eliminating unnecessary and unfilled employment positions at all state agencies should be a task all legislators engage in regularly. I also believe that our vehicle pool and state buildings could be significantly cut if we centralized our motor pool maintenance and more aggressively identified and sold off property the state does not need to own.
Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.
Strongly Disagree
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.
Strongly Disagree
Under what circumstances can government close churches?
I can't identify a realistic scenario that would justify closing a church. I helped pass a law this year to protect churches from being shut down, which Governor DeSantis recently signed.
HEALTHCARE
What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D)Tax-payer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be de-funded.
D. The system for Medicaid and Medicare has become an entitlement that has hindered innovation and competition, and opened up avenues for fraud. It has expanded to such a point that it would be nearly impossible to eliminate, but i believe it has fundamentally harmed our healthcare system.
Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?
When a vaccine is FDA approved and serves as a method of preventing contraction AND transmission of an extremely harmful disease. The Polio and Smallpox vaccines are examples of vaccines that have helped eradicate those diseases. The COVID vaccines do not prevent transmission, do not prevent contraction, and will not eradicate COVID. That is why i passed the law to ban the government to forcibly vaccinate citizens, and why i helped fight against the Federal mandates.
NATIONAL SECURITY
What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of Islamic terrorism?
Enforce and improve our immigration laws, and support law enforcement initiatives to identify and detain known terrorists.
I support the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement to pressure Israel to withdraw from occupied territories, remove the separation barrier in the West Bank, allow full equality for Arab-Palestinian citizens of Israel, and promote the rights of Palestinian refugees.
Strongly Disagree
IMMIGRATION
The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.
Strongly Agree
Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?
Our immigration policies should be based upon a merit based system similar to many European countries. We should establish a stronger framework for granting refugee status, and we should make it clear to the world that our borders are closed to illegal immigrants trying to jump the line to enter our country.
EDUCATION
I support school choice, including voucher programs, tax credits, charter schools, private schools, and home schools.
Strongly Agree
VALUES
Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which is necessary for our system of limited government.
Strongly Agree
I support adding gender identity as a specially protected class in non-discrimination laws.
Strongly Disagree
I believe gender is already an immutable characteristic that is protected from discrimination.
Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition
Choose not to answer
By including the word "legal" in your definition of the covenant of marriage, you lower the Covenant of marriage below what God ordained. My Covenant of marriage with my wife, entered into before and with God and my family, has no relation to my legal documents allowing me to jointly own property with my wife and transfer property intestate. Every time a faith based organization tries to conflate a secular legal contract with the Covenant of marriage, they insult the Covenant of marriage.
I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.
Strongly Disagree
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
I am a born again believer in Jesus Christ, my Lord and Savior, the only perfect individual to ever walk this earth. I believe that Christ died on the cross for my sins, was buried and rose again 3 days later, conquering death and sin in the process. I believe in Christ's message of grace for all who repent and declare him as their Savior.
ELECTIONS AND VOTING
People should be able to vote without photo identification.
Strongly Disagree
What laws would you propose to change present voting practices?
I am proud that Florida has passed some of the strongest election integrity laws in the country over the past two years, and I was proud to support them and to vote in favor of them, including restrictions to combat ballot harvesting and fraud.
EQUALITY
Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?
I think BLM has proven to be racist and violent. I do not believe racism is a threat to domestic security, but I do believe that support for political violence by liberal groups has caused the injury and death of hundreds of our law enforcement officers. Until the left admits that political violence is never acceptable or protected speech, i believe their ideologies pose a threat to Americans.
Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.
Strongly Disagree
ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT
Which comes closest to your view? A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. B) Stricter environmental laws and regulations are worth the cost.
A
I support the use of hydraulic fracking to extract oil and natural gas resources.
Strongly Agree
ABOUT YOU
What do you think is the general purpose of government?
To provide for the common defense and ensure domestic tranquility.
When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?
Very Conservative

Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized in either civil or criminal court for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.
No
What else would you like voters to know about you, including your legislative priorities?

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY
Police officers should be personally immune from prosecution for conduct consistent with departmental policy (qualified immunity) while on duty.
Strongly Agree
I support redirecting funds from police departments to mental health and community programs.
Strongly Disagree
2ND AMENDMENT
What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?
If you have been convicted of a violent felony and have not fully paid your debt to society, you cannot possess a firearm. I support restoring the right to possess a firearm to anyone with a felony record once they have served their sentence, and paid their fines and restitution and all other terms of their criminal sentence. If there is an active injunction/restraining order against you, entered by a court and based upon clear evidence that you pose a threat to another individual, you cannot possess a firearm.
Victims of gun violence should be able to sue firearms dealers and manufacturers.
Strongly Disagree
