Strongly Agree

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

Abortion should only be performed as a medical emergency.

What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of radical Islamic terrorism?

The U.S. should protect our borders and screen people trying to enter the US by using terrorist watch lists and refusing re-entry to any foreigners traveling to known terrorists areas.

What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers in the Constitution?

America's Founders carefully crafted the Constitution because they understood that power corrupts. They wanted citizens to be protected from government, to protect our God given, inalienable rights.

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I have always been a conservative, and my first presidential election I voted for Ronald Reagan when I was a senior in high school. I am pro-life and believe in our 2nd amendment rights. Protecting our borders should be a top priority. I also believe the spending by the federal government is way out of control. The level of the debt of $21 trillion dollars and the current expanding of it by 1 trillion a year is immoral and irresponsible.

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and immigration, which of the following best describes you overall?

Conservative

Please provide publicly available information validating your answer to the previous question.

I was very involved in the Richmond Tea Party when I lived in Virginia. I was on the organization team for the first National Tea Party Convention and I've written several articles about the Richmond Tea Party that was on The Drudge Report. I've also been quoted in several books written about the Tea Party movement.

How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?

All aspects of Healthcare should be made more competitive. When government gets in the middle, costs always rise. Obamacare is proof of this. Obamacare should be repealed before it totally collapses our medical system. There is no competition and prices have risen to ridicules levels.

What role should government play in boosting the economy?

Government's role should be to make sure of fair market competition and basically stop overburdening businesses with too much regulations. That isn't what is happening right now because special interest runs Washington DC. Special interest writes the bills and rewards the politicians that vote to benefit those special interest. We have cronyism not free markets, right now. Also I think that politicians should not be allowed to go to work for lobbyist firms for at least 3 years after leaving office.

What changes should be made to the tax code?

The tax code should be simplified like President Trump wanted. Tax laws for corporations/businesses should also be simplified. The financial and time savings for businesses and individuals would be a boost for the economy. Keeping taxes low will also boost the economy and encourage businesses to stay and grow in our own country.

What is the best way to bring down unemployment?

Keeping taxes low, reducing burdensome regulations will continue to boost the economy and keep people employed.

How would you guarantee Social Security benefits for future generations?

The growing out of control spending in Washington DC is a threat to Social Security. Even though the government claims Social Security is funded through 2034, Medicare is not. Also the National Debt is over 21 trillion dollars and projected to rise to 33 trillion in 10 years. The largest portion of the budget is Social Security and Medicare, so of course the out of control spending is a threat to the future payments of Social Security and Medicare in my opinion. Congress must start addressing reducing spending and the debt while the economy is doing well in order to protect Social Security for the future.

What education or experience qualifies you to hold the office for which you seek election?

I am a regular citizen. I have no special skills other than common sense to know that the ever expanding spending and debt created by the past and current Congress does nothing but expand the DC swamp, increasing the centralized power in DC(reducing individual state's power). The incumbent I'm running against is an attorney and has plenty of political experience. He also has no problem voting for more spending and following the party leadership(of both parties) I'm not a career politician, I'm a Realtor, mother of 3 grown children, a college graduate and I've been married for 30 years.

Is there anything else you would like voters to know about you?

My motivation for running for Congress was because the incumbent voted for the 1.3 trillion dollar spending bill this year. The trajectory this has put us on according to the Congressional Budget Office will add almost a trillion to the National Debt of 21 trillion dollars this year, ballooning to 33 trillion dollars in 10 years. This is a threat to the economy, national security, our children's future and is plain immoral. If a Republican doesn't have the political will to cut spending, or to stop funding Planned Parenthood while the party has a majority in Congress, then they need to get booted out. I don't have any aspiration politically, my goal is to protect us from Washington DC. I know we need more dedicated conservatives elected to Congress to actually make real changes to a corrupted system being run by special interest lobbyist.
