OTHER INFORMATION

QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Human life begins at conception and deserves legal protection at every stage until natural death.

Strongly Agree

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds or grants from federal, state, or local governments.

Agree

I support the Born Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act, which requires health care providers to provide life-saving treatment for infants who survive an attempted abortion.

Strongly Agree

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

To save the life of the mother

ECONOMY

It is the government’s responsibility to ensure everyone has a livable income.

Strongly Disagree

Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.

Strongly Agree

How would you guarantee Social Security benefits for future generations?

Non Social Security benefits for illegal alien, or those who did not pay in a minimum of work years to be determined. Foreigners that immigrate here and who have not met the requirement in years in, cannot receive benefits. At this point, Social Security is just a supplement, it is nearly impossible to live on the monthly benefit, so children should be taught early on the importance of saving, and investing in real estate, stocks, businesses - not spending every penny they make. A panel of experts should be convened to come up with a future growth scenario for the Social Security program, to ensure its continued viability and long-term survival. Also include provisions to reduce the costs of medicare for retirees and stream lining the complicated programs of supplemental plans people are required to carry to reduce costs. It should not be so complicated.

What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?

Funding for non-essential needs that overburden the system, and deplete funding initiatives for crucial programs - like education, military, infrastructure, law enforcement, transportation maintenance - roads, health care. Excessive costs that are not deemed neccessary will show areas that may need funding cuts. All to be determined...

Under what circumstances should taxpayers help pay off existing student loans?

Never. The obligation to pay off student loans is incumbent upon the individual that borrowed the funds - not the taxpayer. Low interest publically backed - not high interest private loans, should be available as well as price fixing, to prevent schools from charging exorbitant tuition and housing costs. Many European countries offer their citizens a reduced cost, or no cost, higher education.

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

Governments should not discriminate against individuals, organizations or small businesses because of their belief that marriage is only a union of one man and one woman.

Strongly Agree

Religious liberty is at risk in the United States and deserves the highest level of protection in the law.

Strongly Agree

I promise to protect the freedom of Christians to share the Gospel and to practice Biblical principles.

Yes

What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?

The government does not have the right to either promote religion, or infringe on the rights of those who do follow a religious belief - including but not limited to the right to worship without undue constraints and rules thereof that dent individual access to a place of worship during state sanctioned lockdowns. The government cannot deny an individuals right to believe, or when and where they can go to exercise that individual right. No infringement...

HEALTHCARE

It is the government’s responsibility to ensure everyone has health insurance.

Disagree

I support the elimination of private healthcare insurance.

Disagree

How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?

Thru a nationwide ad campaign, and informative pamphlets available online, and by mail for those who lack internet access. Also they can be offered at medical facilities, and doctors offices

NATIONAL SECURITY

The best way to maintain peace is through a strong military.

Strongly Agree

What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of radical Islamic terrorism?

Monitor extrememist-leaning groups, and prosecute all crimes under US law, not Sharia Law. Our Constitution must be upheld

IMMIGRATION

I am in favor of construction of a wall and other necessary infrastructure on our border that gives complete control over entering and exiting the United States.

Strongly Agree

Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) should be abolished.

Strongly Disagree

State and federal funds should be denied to any public or private entity, including but not limited to sanctuary cities, that are not in compliance with immigration laws.

Strongly Agree

Employers should be required to use E-verify to confirm the eligibility of their employees to work in the United States.

Strongly Agree

Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?

All foreigners who have no criminal history, ties via family to terrorist groups or extremists. No one who is incapable of supporting themselves, or their family members within two years maximum of immigrating here. Certain terror-sponsoring countries will have to be scrutinized further. There should be a requirement to become a US citizen within a reasonable time frame, and a working knowledge of English should be required within two years of immigrating to the US, to reduce the extra costs of interpreters and ESL teachers.

EDUCATION

Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.

Neutral

VALUES

Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which is necessary for our system of limited government.

Strongly Agree

I support adding sexual orientation, gender identity and gender expression as protected classes in non-discrimination laws.

Disagree

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

Born Catholic, became Christian - non- Catholic believer in my thirties.

ABOUT YOU

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and immigration, which of the following best describes you overall?

Very Conservative

Please provide publicly available information validating your answer to the previous question.

Did not answer

Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.

Never.

Is there anything else you would like voters to know about you?

I have volunteered at over ten national disasters - including the OKC bombing, Hurricane Katrina, and Harvey, the Joplin tornado, Monroe, OK tornado, flooding innthe Texas Hill country. I think volunteerisn is an important cause to teach our children and grandchildren. I have brought my children and grandchildren with me many times. I have instilled a love of country and respect for our military and veterans by bringing them to visit veterans homes, and laid wreaths on veterans graves over the holiday. Respect for our flag and national anthem instills pride, respect and honor as well. I have been to an active war zone twice - Kabul, Afghanistan in 2018, and 2019. I went to see where the 6 billion dollars a year was being spent, and how stable their infrastructure was. I also visited a local orphanage and brought backpacks full of school supplies, cold weather gear, and hygiene items, for the orphans. As well as some instructional teaching aids for the teachers.

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY

Mandatory minimum sentencing should be required and enforced for violent crimes.

Neutral

2ND AMENDMENT

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

Our Constitution states- "the right to own and bear arms shall not be infringed." That should answer that question.

OTHER IMPORTANT ISSUES

I support BDS (boycott, divestment, and sanction) against Israel if they refuse to allow the creation of a Palestinian state.

Disagree

I support the legalization of recreational marijuana.

Neutral

Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.

Strongly Disagree

The Electoral College should be abolished.

Disagree

In priority order, what three areas of legislation do you propose to author or sponsor if elected?

All lives matter, abortion clinic defunding, protection of born alive human beings who survive abortion. With the hope that Roe V. Wade can be overturned to protect all life. Religious freedom and 1st amendment right to worship guarantees. Clean water initiatives to be enacted on all of our military bases and facilities, and at risk cities with outdated -potentially lethal equipment - as in Flint, Michigan. All federal monies will be overseen by a designated quality control team, not affiliated with the state or local governments, to avoid non-compliance.

Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?

No. Racism exists on every continent, in every country, with carrying determining causative factors exhibited. In the US this has been overblown to the point of dismantling our country. Poverty in the United States, is no where near the crisis untenable levels seen in many third world countries, where endemic poverty exists, and is the determining factor most often used to define status and importance. We cannot learn about how to steer our future away from the dark era of slavery in the US , if we erase our past history and fail to learn from it.
