I am in favor of construction of a wall and other necessary infrastructure on our border that gives complete control over entering and exiting the United States.

Strongly Agree

Governments should not discriminate against individuals, organizations or small businesses because of their belief that marriage is only a union of one man and one woman.

Governments should define marriage as between one man and one woman; no other definition of marriage should be legalized or supported with taxpayer or public funds.

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

Under no circumstances

What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of radical Islamic terrorism?

Strongly support the state of Israel. Restrict immigration from Islamic countries by ending chain migration and visa lotteries. Enforce the death penalty.

What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers in the Constitution?

Original sin. Many is naturally at enmity with God. To overcome this natural state, government power must be dispersed among competing authorities at each level (federal and state) and between levels.

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I believe in the Christian Gospel. Jesus Christ is the creator and Savior of the human race. Right government in the United States will respect the authority of the Gospel and will ensure the freedom of its adherents to propagate and enjoy it.

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and immigration, which of the following best describes you overall?

How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?

I favor association health plans.

What role should government play in boosting the economy?

Basically, the government should get out of the way. Both fiscal and monetary policy approaches often create winners and losers that do not correspond optimal economic welfare.

What changes should be made to the tax code?

Abolition of the Johnson Amendment. Also, establish a flat personal income tax structure. Tax labor and capital at the same rate.

What is the best way to bring down unemployment?

Increase return on investment in the United States by lower taxes on capital investment. I generally approve of the immediate expensing of capital goods in the 2017 tax bill. I believe we are seeing decreased levels of unemployment as a result.

How would you guarantee Social Security benefits for future generations?

The OASDI trust funds should be allowed to invest in equities. Currently, the combined trust funds are restricted to investment in low-yield special issue Treasury bonds.

What education or experience qualifies you to hold the office for which you seek election?

I am a long-time cost accounting and economics professor. I have a Ph.D. in economics. I have also worked as a scientist for the U.S. Government / Central Intelligence Agency.
