Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?
I believe that life begins at conception and all life should be treated equally, whether the child is still in its mother's womb or 3 weeks old. I believe that God is the author of all life.
What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of radical Islamic terrorism?
The United States should always have the ability to defend our national security. If there is a threat to the security of the United States from Radical Islamic terrorist groups, the United States should and does have the right and the responsibility to defend our security.
What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers in the Constitution?
I believe that mankind is inherently self serving. The separation of powers keeps us in check so no one person or branch will have all of the governmental power.
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
I have a Gospel Centered-Biblical World view. I was raised with the understanding that the Bible is the literal word of God that came to man through divine revelation. As such, I base my personal, family, and business decisions on Biblical principles. I believe the God created us to be objects of His love and as such we have the purpose and opportunity to Worship Him. Believe that man was created in the image of God and we have the ability to choose to follow Him. I believe that god sent His Son, Jesus, to live as and example and to die as the perfect sacrifice for mankind.
When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and immigration, which of the following best describes you overall?
Conservative
Please provide publicly available information validating your answer to the previous question.
I am new the realm of politics, but my 23 years in ministry and my 14 years in service as a Chaplain for the Tulsa Police and Fire Departments would lend itself to my Conservative values and my Biblical World view.
How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?
This has been a leading question for the past 5 years. It has yet to be answered because we are instead, focusing on the wrong questions. What we are trying to solve is how do provide adequate insurance, not adequate health care. The ACA that was passed was not health care, it was a government run health insurance. Similar to our current Social Security program, which acts as a reverse life insurance program. What we should be focusing on is Affordable Health Care. I believe that we are each ultimately responsible for our own health and the job should not fall to the federal government. I, instead, believe that the individual states should be tasked with the job of insuring care. Oklahoma currently implements a program called 'Sooner Care' with does a great job caring for those that cannot fully provide their own health care needs.
What role should government play in boosting the economy?
The government has the responsibility to protect national security and to protect our infrastructure which will allow a free market expand which will boost any economy.
What changes should be made to the tax code?
Simplify. . Simplify. . .Simplify. Our annual tax forms should not require a degree in accounting to complete. An immediate simple solution would be to move to a flat tax rate that places all purchases OR income in the same tax bracket.
What is the best way to bring down unemployment?
Unemployment is best lowered when we remove government regulations and allow the free market to find its own proper balance. Minor regulations lead to major regulations which leads to an imbalance in the economy and and increased unemployment rate.
How would you guarantee Social Security benefits for future generations?
Our Social Security is running low and it is now up to our Congress to protect what remains. We must do a better job of investing what is there and protecting what we invest. If our country can move to a balanced budget and quit over spending ever year we would not run out of money.
What education or experience qualifies you to hold the office for which you seek election?
I am not sure that any education experience can qualify one to be a Representative. The US House of Representatives is different from any other office in our Government.

Is there anything else you would like voters to know about you?
I am a 4th generation Oklahoman. I have spent my adult career in the living rooms and offices of Oklahomans listening to their problems and concerns and applying Biblical principles to those needs. As a United States Representative, I will apply those same skills to the needs and concerns of those in Oklahoma's first district. Representation and service are inseparable and I am looking forward to helping our country move forward in the years ahead.
