Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?
Up to the point of medical science definition of life, which is currently understood to be somewhere between 13 to 20 weeks. State law should prevail up to this point. After this state law point, the federal law would support state law in terms of life and liberty.
What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of radical Islamic terrorism?
Use all rational political, economic, and military means to win the war in order to protect our Constitution, people, and property.
What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers in the Constitution?
Mankind involves good and evil as it attempts to achieve life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. Therefore, as Madison stated govt is a necessary evil that must itself be restrained by checks and balances: three branches of gov't vertically and through federalism, horizonally, via 10th Amendment. Moreover, we are a Republic, a nation of laws, not democracy through mob rule.

I was raised Christian, Protestant and am nondenominational. However, I believe we are all God's children free to find ourselves through God's grace and plans.

How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?
State Medicaid Block grants Federal scholarships for doctors, nurses, assistants, emergency medical, long term care providers etc in exchange for 6-10 yrs of public service in needy areas. Research and development grants for generic drugs. Facilitate long term care facility expansion Privatize most of VA Facilitate more medical schools
What role should government play in boosting the economy?
Generally, exercising a balanced budget and controlling monetary policy to curb inflation and debt. I agree with economists Milton Friedman, Arthur Laffer, and Larry Kudlow.
What changes should be made to the tax code?
The tax code should be fair, equal, and simple. The best solution is to go to a national sales tax that applies to all citizens and consumers except for religiously recognized entities. Moreover, the tax rate could be easily adjusted up or down as the budget required on a quarterly basis. Finally, the tax rate would be equally applied to all consumers/citizens and provide immediate feedback to citizens as to the full financial burden of government programs and services
What is the best way to bring down unemployment?
Encourage free enterprise, reduce taxes, reduce the federal budget, and reduce overly bureaucratic regulations. Promote good job training and education to unemployed people who are temporarily on government assistance/housing. Limit unemployment assistance to 2 years maximum as a matter of general policy.
How would you guarantee Social Security benefits for future generations?
First, I believe Social Security is a Constitutionally questionable, massive Ponzi scheme that is subject to all types of fraud, waste, and abuse. Therefore, I would first gradually isolate Social Security from the general treasury fund to a privatized, highly regulated alternate solution.
