OTHER IMPORTANT ISSUES

Human life begins at conception and deserves legal protection at every stage until natural death.

Disagree

I am in favor of construction of a wall and other necessary infrastructure on our border that gives complete control over entering and exiting the United States.

Disagree

Governments should not discriminate against individuals, organizations or small businesses because of their belief that marriage is only a union of one man and one woman.

Governments should define marriage as between one man and one woman; no other definition of marriage should be legalized or supported with taxpayer or public funds.

I voted in these primaries and general elections:

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

I believe in a woman's right to choose what she does with her own body. I can see that many of the people reading this will disagree with that, and that's okay. But when both parties are crushing the middle and working class, and pushing endless wars and fracking, and giving the people no say in these decisions, is this really a make-or-break issue or an issue to cause division between us?

What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of radical Islamic terrorism?

For starters we can stop bombing Muslim countries and taking their oil. The countries that we have been bombing for the last 17 years are not the countries that have been state-sponsors of terrorism in the last few decades. Those countries are treated like our allies. If we weren't killing mothers and children, husbands, uncles, etc, people in these countries wouldn't hate us like they do.

What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers in the Constitution?

They knew that absolute power corrupts absolutely, and so there had to be restrictions on individual power and systems to remove those that needed to be removed.

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I believe in a spirituality, which is difficult to describe. I think we all hold ourselves responsible for our deeds and are answerable to ourselves. I can see that many of the people reading this will not vote for me because of that, and that's okay. But when both parties are crushing the middle and working class, and pushing endless wars and fracking, and giving the people no say in these decisions, is this really a make-or-break issue or an issue to cause division between us? How many "leaders" have we seen that proclaimed to be religious but did not conduct themselves in a moral manner?

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and immigration, which of the following best describes you overall?

Very Liberal

Please provide publicly available information validating your answer to the previous question.

I think my website, wwww.kishineff.org validates my answer.

How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?

Single payer healthcare would cost less money than the amount we spend now on healthcare.

What role should government play in boosting the economy?

The government should be passing infrastructure bills that provide jobs and cleaning up our waterways, which would also provide jobs. Government spending boosts the economy. That's economics 101.

What changes should be made to the tax code?

The top 1% should be paying 70%. Billionaires and corporations should not be allowed to not pay taxes. Wall Street trading should be taxed.

What is the best way to bring down unemployment?

A federal jobs guarantee.

How would you guarantee Social Security benefits for future generations?

By eliminating the cap that we currently have on who pays into social security. Currently the wealthy do not pay into the program at all.

What education or experience qualifies you to hold the office for which you seek election?

I think its rather the lack of experience that qualifies me, or as I like to put it, I am not corrupted by the military/corporate machine. Further, this campaign does not take corporate donations, so we will be working for the voters and not big donors or special interests.

Is there anything else you would like voters to know about you?

I am on a mission to kick corporate interests out of our political system, so that we can reform our electoral laws so they work for the people and not just the billionaires. I believe the biggest issue facing America is one of justice- the wealth gab between rich and poor is as large as its ever been, people of color have to fear for their lives when a police car is behind them in traffic, our military has been bombing countries that have not attacked us nor threatened us for up to 17 years without the support of the people. It is time to say "enough is enough"! Both "major" parties have been corrupted. Rise up and stop voting for the military/corporate duopoly. Vote for peace and for justice.
