Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?
This is a medical decision that should be made by the patient and doctor. It is an absolute fact that countries like Brazil have laws against abortion but have a much higher abortion rate than the USA. All they have done is made it a more dangerous procedure for women who are NOT making an easy choice. Often endangering their lives and leaving their other children without a mother. I am not for abortion, but recognize this is a problem based on unplanned pregnancies due to many causes. A blanket ban or law against them will do little to stop a woman from making a choice about her own body, a choice that God has given her and no law should or can take away. For those who want to stop abortions, we have the ability to have many fewer unplanned pregnancies and therefore fewer abortions. But that means more access to Planned Parenthood, NOT LESS. More access to women's health, birth control alternatives, better employment and childcare options to provide for their families.

What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of radical Islamic terrorism?
Begin by ending the term "radical Islamic terrorism." Those using that term are offended by phrases like "radical Christianity" as if their faith is somehow guilty by the association. We should not be offending a billion people for the actions of a relative few extremists who misinterpret a religion for their own warped purposes. Then, we need to seriously look at the causes of these fringe groups who are in many cases retaliating against Western actions in their countries over decades of installing dictators, dividing their lands, fighting proxy wars on their soil, taking control of their resources and basically sending our children to rain hellfire on them under the pretext of liberation and peace that never happens and lies about weapons of mass destruction that don't exist.

What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers in the Constitution?
Absolute power corrupts absolutely. The nature of mankind proven throughout history. Power in the hands of the few, jeopardizes the many. Separated into equal branches with limited powers acts as checks and balances against the others, no one person or group has that absolute power. Today, we see a relative few elite, rich and powerful corporate masters using the power of the purse to gain influence over each branch. We must and will take the money out of politics.

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
Things will go according to a plan. It may not be my plan, it may not be your plan, but have faith and trust that it is a plan. Christ's lesson were really quite simple and very well explain in His sermon on the Mount. Something as simple as love thy neighbor appears to be lost to too many Christians in today's divided world.

Please provide publicly available information validating your answer to the previous question.
I am fiscally conservative. Never made a car payment, never run a balance on my credit cards. I have always lived within my means. More socially conservative than many republicans, when I made a promise to my wife I keep it. I strongly believe in conservation of our natural resources. Liberal when it comes to individual choices as long as your choices do not have a detrimental impact on others. I am tired of the hate and fear when I know that a huge majority of us want to move in the same direction and only the way that we get there is in dispute. I want to craft the message in a moderate, common sense way that more people will understand that we cannot make America Great by skipping over good. Quite simply, calling a Gold Star widow whose husband died in service to this country a liar is not good and will never lead us to something we could call great.

How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?
With all the debates, misinformation, outright lies I have yet to hear anyone mention the fact that we spend 3 trillion dollars on healthcare each year. That's $10,000 for each man, woman, and child. Yet, the rhetoric is to complain about monthly premiums that are less than half that price tag. Medicare has an overhead cost of about 2%. Insurers really do skim off as much as 30% when you add in the salaries of top management. Billions of dollars that don't buy a bandage or a life saving procedure, just yachts for the CEO's of the healthcare industries. It's time to take a serious look at Medicare for all.
What role should government play in boosting the economy?
Protect workers' health, benefits, job security, welfare, and security. We have the most productive workforce in the world but as wages continue to stagnate, opportunities decline, upward mobility stalls, education gets more expensive, and regulations that protect workers are rolled back the economy is not "boosted." Wealth is only concentrated in the hands of a few. Today, government should be focused on only one thing --- ending the income inequality where CEO's are taking 500% to 1,000% more than the average worker and then with their power, receiving huge tax breaks. The economy thrives on the velocity of money. Put more in the hands of the consumer in a consumer driven economy.

What changes should be made to the tax code?
This has been studied. The path to less government spending is to raise on those with the most influence on spending. They will respond by using their power to lower spending if they have to worry about how the bills get paid. Cutting taxes on the rich only makes them LESS responsive and responsible for the runaway spending and annual deficits.

What is the best way to bring down unemployment?
It's a consumer driven economy. Put money in the consumers hands and they will spend it. Consumption creates jobs in products and services. Education is also a very important component but that also includes trade schools and crafts, union apprenticeships. The short-sighted "Right to Work" laws are guarantees to a right to work for less with even less incentive to work at all.

How would you guarantee Social Security benefits for future generations?
The balanced budgets of 1999 & 2000 squandered by a republican congress and administration in the early 2000's were in anticipation of a retiring Baby Boomer generation. At that time it was projected taxes and spending put in place at the end to the 1990's would pay off the national debt by 2012. We need to stop repeating the same mistakes of 2000 that led to another 10 trillion in national debt instead of the retirement of that debt so the guarantee of benefits is possible.

What education or experience qualifies you to hold the office for which you seek election?
I have succeeded an many industries with a Social Security earnings record that dates back to 50 years ago when I was 13. From pumping gas and repairing cars in high school, farm work, laboratory chemist in college, college teacher, construction labor, to construction project manager and senior estimator today. I understand what it takes to succeed in business and in life. I have what is unique in my ability to take on challenging roles, learn quickly and utilize all the experience and skills I have acquired through the years to solve difficult problems with new approaches that those with single-minded tunnel vision would never think of because they've never been where I've been, never done the things I've done.

Is there anything else you would like voters to know about you?
80% of voters can agree on one thing. We need to take the money out of politics. My campaign is an exciting opportunity to send a loud and clear message to Washington that they cannot ignore. Agree with my individual policies or disagree, that is of little import when you are now given the opportunity to change the whole system forever in a very positive way that puts the voter in charge instead of those with the most money.
