OTHER INFORMATION

QUESTIONNAIRE

OTHER IMPORTANT ISSUES

Human life begins at conception and deserves legal protection at every stage until natural death.

Strongly Agree

I am in favor of construction of a wall and other necessary infrastructure on our border that gives complete control over entering and exiting the United States.

Strongly Agree

Governments should not discriminate against individuals, organizations or small businesses because of their belief that marriage is only a union of one man and one woman.

Agree

Governments should define marriage as between one man and one woman; no other definition of marriage should be legalized or supported with taxpayer or public funds.

Disagree

It is the government’s responsibility to be sure everyone has a livable income.

Disagree

It is the government’s responsibility to be sure everyone has health insurance.

Strongly Disagree

Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which permitted our system of limited government.

Disagree

Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.

Religious liberty is at risk in the United States and deserves the highest level of protection in the law.

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive funds from federal, state, or local governments.

I voted in these primaries and general elections:

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

Only when the life of the mother is at risk due to pregnancy.

What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers in the Constitution?

The Constitution was written to control the government's behavior, not to control the people's behavior.

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I believe that God and Jesus exist, and Christ died for our sins. I also believe in the Old Testament, and that Jesus was a Rabbi. Religion in its current form is Man's Search for God; and the birth of Jesus was God's Search for Man.

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and immigration, which of the following best describes you overall?

Conservative

Please provide publicly available information validating your answer to the previous question.

I have always held a strong belief in empowering the individual, and personal responsibility. As a candidate, my aspirations are to emulate Ronald Reagan, Newt Gingrich, and Winston Churchill. I would consider all of these men to be conservative elected officials. I didn't put "Very" Conservative as my above answer, because I am for equal rights [not "special" rights, though], meaning I believe that the entire spectrum from strict Christians, extending to the LGBTQII community, should all be treated equally, with no special privileges for any group. I believe that LESS government is the answer in the private lives of its citizens, and a "True" conservative would agree that government should have a say in economic, and policy issues, but social issues are an egregious overreach of power in what a private citizen does behind closed doors.

What is the best way to bring down unemployment?

Make it easier for companies to do business. Lower taxes in the state for new businesses, and award businesses for continued progress and growth in our state. One of the best things about the USA is that there are 50 microcosms of government to see what approaches work best. Business is BOOMING now in the Southeast because they have set up their laws to be friendly to business. These are Non-Union, Low Taxed states with able-bodied people ready and willing to work. PA could learn a lot from the Carolinas (Boeing), and Alabama (Airbus) on how to lure business to the area.

How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?

I would make healthcare coverage a more capitalist model, and have healthcare providers compete for consumers business. It would be modeled after the current car insurance model.

What role should government play in boosting the economy?

Government should lower taxes to encourage boosting the economy, and then get out of the way and let private capitalism do its work.

What education or experience qualifies you to hold the office for which you seek election?

Four generations of my family are now living in the area that I want to represent (from my grandmother to my own son). I know the problems that people face in our community, and I have experienced great successes and hurtful layoffs (due to economic downturn) in my career. My wife is a teacher, and my son is in our public school system, so I am educated daily by what teachers need and what students are learning to be successful. I am not doing this to be a politician. I believe in a call to public service, and civic duty. It is generally hard to find a good conservative candidate, because as conservatives we want to limit the role that government has in our lives.

Is there anything else you would like voters to know about you?

I am just a man that wants the best for this community, and I believe in conservative solutions and capitalist ideas to keep us strong against the outside influences of neighboring communities that have already surrendered to higher taxes and lower quality of life. I want us to succeed as individuals as well as together as a community.
