What is your position on the minimum wage?
Free enterprise should set the minimum wage so the economy can work seemlessly with supply and demand. In states that have hiked the minimum wage, it is the small businesses who suffer and close, while large corporate businesses benefit.
Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.

Eliminate medicaid fraud; reform the education funding formula, if there's no budget then no pay for the legislature, eliminate SNAP benefits fraud to make sure the people that need the resources get them.
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?
This phrase is neither in the Declaration of Independence nor in the Constitution, however, the First Amendment makes it clear that Government should neither be establishing its own religious organization or interfering in the affairs of religious organizations. Our state's churches do an exceptional work healing the physical, mental and spiritual health of Pennsylvanians. Government should never stand in the way of that, and in fact, be encouraging benevolent behavior.
Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

There is no such thing as God-given rights without God, and for our state to establish itself as God-less is both a violation of our principles and an attack on our freedom.
HEALTHCARE
What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D) Taxpayer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be defunded.
C with changes: Professions in similar subgroups should be allowed to co-op to keep medical insurance expenses down. A taxpayer funded temporary safety net system should be put in place until people can get signed up for medicaid or medicare depending on their situation. Government should be encouraging self-sufficiency, which gives people a leg up to better themselves and become productive individuals that keep our nation healthy and prosperous.
The government should keep a database of people with various ongoing medical illnesses to assess the economic burden of treatment.

Hospitals already report this kind of information, but not down to the individual level. If the hospital wants to use a patient's information for any reason, the patient should be allowed to opt into that - it should be voluntary.

Yes, all ally relationships are important, especially in the Middle East right now. Foreign policy is typically not an issue state government works on. PA manufactures defense related products that we sell to allied countries like Isreal which is domestic and helps our state economy.

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
I am in full alignment with William Penn's vision that government is a holy institution ordained by God to protect His people: to terrify evil-doers and to uplift the righteous. This is a task with eternal ramifications and should not be taken lightly. I believe living truthfully using the ten commandments is path to healthy living in pursuit of God's grace in the end. It is this devotion that made Pennsylvania great, and the devotion that must lead it into the future.

I have been fighting this issue for five years. Our original bill HB 972 was passed out of the House and the Senate in bipartisan manner but Governor Wolf vetoed it. Governor Shapiro and House democrats won't allow the bill out of committee when 80% of the people of PA agree with this statement. Sports should be based on biology, not gender, and Title IX should be preserved.
ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT
Man-made climate change is a global threat and requires urgent political action.

Pennsylvanians have a constitutional right to clean air and water that must be upheld, but nonsensical and unsustainable anti-growth energy policies justified on environmentalism make us poorer and weaker and rarely have the intended impact on carbon emissions.

Nuclear is the cleanest, most efficient reliable energy source, along with natural gas, which Pennsylvania is abundantly rich in.

To quote George Washington, "The due administration of justice is the firmest pillar of good government." The system should fairly prosecute individuals who break the law and uphold the law that protects its citizens.

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?
Gun ownership is protected through the second amendment and shall not be questioned. The only restriction should be for incarcerated individuals. Safety courses should be encouraged upon ownership and lost or stolen guns should be reported to local authorities.
