The United States should do everything within its power under the Constitution to eliminate the threat of radical terrorism. Safety of the American people is paramount, and extremists want to exploit fear to harm our freedom.

Power corrupts. Absolute power corrupts absolutely. Limited, defined and separated power is necessary to prevent corruption that is natural when one man gains power over another.

I was raised, and am still, a Catholic. I believe in the tenants of my faith, which is why I advocate so firmly for life.

How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?
The government needs to get out of our relationship with our doctors. Doctors know how to make us better, but compliance with federal regulation has made the overhead for practicing medicine extreme and burdensome.
What role should government play in boosting the economy?
the government should reduce its burden on private enterprise. That will allow for more productivity and opportunity in the economy.
What changes should be made to the tax code?
The tax code should be continually simplified and changed to reduce tax burden on business.
What is the best way to bring down unemployment?
The best way to bring down unemployment is to reduce the government burden on job creators... fewer regulation and less taxation.
How would you guarantee Social Security benefits for future generations?
To guarantee benefits for future generations, which may not be possible, the age of eligibility will have to be gradually raised.
What education or experience qualifies you to hold the office for which you seek election?
I have a background of effectiveness in my public and private careers. In the state legislature, I have taken on the most difficult issues and created conservative solutions. In my private life, I am a successful attorney and business owner.

Congress is broken. It isn't solving our problems. I solve problems... it's what I do. My reputation is as a conservative and effective leader. I want to fix our problems in Washington, D.C., and that is why I am willing to leave Idaho for Congress.
