QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

Strongly Agree

Chemical abortion drugs should meet essential safety standards (such as in-person consultation with a medical doctor) and require reporting to gather evidence on reactions and outcomes.

Strongly Agree

Under what circumstances should an elective abortion be allowed?

Only when the mother's life is in peril and there is no other medical alternative available. The sanctity of life should always be defended.

Does the federal government have a role to play in limiting abortion, and if so what federal steps and/or federal legislation would you support?

The fall of Roe vs Wade was a monumental victory for the pro-life movement. After the Dobbs decision, I worked diligently in the Indiana State Senate to create one of the most pro-life pieces of legislation in the entire country. I believe the federal government should work to support new mothers/families and be encouraging them to raise their children. As a legislator, I have worked to craft policy that assists pregnant mothers by allowing them to claim their unborn baby as a dependant on tax credits. This is an example of the pro-life legislation that I would work to accomplish in Congress.

ECONOMY

What actions would you take that would allow Americans to retain more of their income and wealth?

1. Make significant budget cuts including eliminating the federal Dept. of Education 2. Decrease government intervention in businesses and cut red tape 3. Eliminate the federal Estate Tax

Student loan forgiveness unfairly shifts the financial burden to those not responsible for student debt.

Strongly Agree

Should environmental and social issues, like ESG (environmental, social, and governance) ratings, be used as criteria in deciding where to invest public monies?

No

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?

It ensures that our religious liberties will remain unhindered by any governmental factors. The original concept was meant to "keep the wilderness of government out of religous affairs." Today, that is more necessary than ever. The federal government continues to overstep in areas of commerce and livlihood. It is essential that our churches remain free from governmental reign.

Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

Disagree

HEALTHCARE

Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?

Medical decisions should be left to the discretion of the individual and/or the parents of a minor. In the State Senate, I have fought for legislation that protects medical freedom and prohibits government entities from requiring vaccines.

What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D) Taxpayer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be defunded.

C

NATIONAL SECURITY

With regard to America's foreign policy, which view most closely resembles yours: A) The United States should intervene whenever freedom is threatened. B) The United States should selectively help countries trying to grow democracy and fight tyranny. C) The United States has become too involved in others' policies and should remain focused on issues regarding our own sovereignty unless in imminent danger. D) The United States should stay out of foreign conflicts completely.

B.) The United States should selectively help countries trying to grow democracy and fight tyranny. Our nations budget has become severely unbalanced which is partly due to supplying unchecked foreign aid. We cannot afford to continue to intervene in every global threat across the world. However, in severe circumstances it is imperative that we help our democratic allies defend themselves from terroristic threats.

The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber security, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States.

Strongly Agree

Is the United States' relationship with Israel important, and if so why?

Absolutely. As the only functioning democracy in the Middle East, Israel is a vital ally to the United States. I believe that it is our duty to help Israel defend its sovereignty from enemies such as Hamas.

What are the causes of decline in U.S. military recruitment and retention?

I believe our education system needs to reinvigorate our students about the importance of defending our freedom. Freedom is not a gift, it was hardearned and must be hard kept. The values of a Constitutional Republic cannot be overstated. We need to be focused on the education of American history and it's importance for our future.

IMMIGRATION

The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.

Strongly Agree

Our country is facing a national crisis at the border. Everyday, thousands of illegal immigrants are pouring into our country with no regard for the law. We have witnessed a severe influx of fentanyl and violent criminals in our community. It is imperative that we take drastic measures to ensure our southern border is secured.

Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?

The current law dictates that immigrants are able to enter our country legally by securing U.S. Visas. For our country to regain stability, immigrants must go through the proper channels and follow the rule of law. There is much work to be done concerning immigration reform, the United States should be actively enforcing the current law while simultaneously finding new ways to improve it.

EDUCATION

I support school choice, including voucher programs, tax credits, charter schools, private schools, and home schools.

Strongly Agree

I support eliminating the U.S. Department of Education and giving control back to states and communities.

Strongly Agree

VALUES

Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition.

Agree

Children are the most vulnerable members of society and must be protected from abuse, including gender ideology, grooming, and bodily mutilation.

Strongly Agree

All children, especially the unborn, are extremely vulnerable and susceptible to the ideals pressed upon them. I believe that we should pass legislation banning irreversible surgery for minors regarding gender ideology. We should also ensure that public schools are prohibited from teaching gender ideology in the classroom.

Taxpayer funds should be used to provide gender transition services.

Strongly Disagree

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

As a devout Catholic, I wholeheartedly belive in the sanctity of life and the duty to protect the vulnerable. As a legislator, I have worked to empower families and ensure that decisions are made in the best interest of the child.

ELECTIONS AND VOTING

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Strongly Disagree

Election integrity is essential to maintain our functioning democracy. Without proper identification, it is impossible to trust the accuracy of our election process. Photo ID helps to ensure that only legal U.S. citizens are allowed to participate in electing our leaders.

The Electoral College should be abolished.

Strongly Disagree

The electoral college ensures that smaller states have an equal voice reflective of their population. This process is crucial to keep large states like California from dominating the election process.

EQUALITY

I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.

Strongly Disagree

Biological males should not be allowed to participate in women's sports or occupy biological women's spaces whether it be bathrooms, locker rooms, sorority houses, women's shelters, or prison.

Strongly Agree

ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT

Man-made climate change is a global threat and requires urgent political action.

Disagree

What do you believe is the most reliable energy source that will supply the growing demand for electricity?

There is much research that needs to be done before we can rely on new energy sources. We must regain our energy independence through the usage of fossil fuels before we can begin to embrace new sources such as nuclear or solar.

ABOUT YOU

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?

Conservative

What do you think is the general purpose of government?

To defend the public from threats, both foreign and domestic.

Have you ever been penalized for sexual misconduct in either civil or criminal court? If so, please explain.

No

Have you ever been convicted of a felony? If so, please explain.

No

JUDICIAL PHILOSOPHY

The Supreme Court should be reformed to include more seats.

Strongly Disagree

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY

I support redirecting funds from police departments to community programs.

Strongly Disagree

2ND AMENDMENT

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

I proudly support the 2nd Amendment and have a proven voting record to stand on. Restricitive gun-control policies are detrimental to a society. The 2nd Amendment must be upheld to ensure the rest of our founding principles are protected.
