An innocent life is taken in abortion. It should not happen. Life must be protected
What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of radical Islamic terrorism?
Prevent immigration of people who embrace and/or have an ideology sympathetic to radical ideas Carefully screen immigrants from regions and areas with a propensity to radical ideology Have a robust and proactive foreign policy that prevents a safe haven or base for radical ideals (i.e. ISIS in Syria/Iraq)
What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers in the Constitution?
The sinful nature of man justly caused the founders concern about the dangers of giving too much power to one person. Thus the separation of powers was introduced as a "check and balance" to create accountability and a balance of power.
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
The Apostle's Creed captures the essence of my beliefs. I serve one God, whose son, Jesus Christ, suffered, died and rose from the dead for our sins. Salvation is a gift of grace offered to all people via the suffering, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, with salvation being found only in Jesus. Personal testimony When I was 15 years old, I was invited to a Protestant youth group and for the first time I heard the Gospel… that one is a lost sinner needing salvation as a free gift of God provided by Jesus Christ. I responded to the altar call, went forward, repented of sin and accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior.

(1) Service - I have served you and this nation for more than 30 years, as a Colonel in the United States Army. My greatest service to you is that I am the only candidate in this race who is a combat veteran. (2) Leadership - While the others talk - I do. I have led men and women from across this state, nation and literally across the world in the most daunting and dangerous missions you can imagine. My last mission in Afghanistan - I led 80 men and women from 18 diverse nations I also have developed strategies that have been used to maintain peace in Europe as well as to vanquish our foes in foreign lands. I am the only candidate with such extensive leadership experience.

Is there anything else you would like voters to know about you?
I recently wrapped up more than 30 years of active duty as a Colonel in the US Army, serving along the Iron Curtain during the Cold War, seeing combat in Iraq, and after 9/11 I deployed three times to Afghanistan. It breaks my heart that after 30 years of sacrifice, I am passing the nation to my son less prosperous, less free and less good than how I received it from my father. Like so many of you, I am tired of being on the defensive… it's time to rise up and fight. Together… and with God’s help I believe that, "America’s greatest chapter is still to be written, for the best is yet to come" (Reagan) But, to achieve this… we must fight and just as I fought for you in Iraq and Afghanistan, I will fight for you in Washington DC…
