What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of radical Islamic terrorism?

Radical Islamic terrorism is based in the belief that anyone who does not believe in Islam and follow their laws is an infidel and should be eradicated. We need to support the Islamic leaders and nations that do not hold this radical view who can influence their brothers and sisters o understand that Western values and culture are not an attack on their beliefs ad can coexist.

How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?

This question gets to the root of the debate in our country today. It is healthcare, including prescription drugs, that need to be adequate, affordable and accessible to all, not insurance. Until we can all agree on that we will not make any progress in solving the problem. Medical expenses can no longer be the number one cause of bankruptcy in the United States. The whole structure must be reexamined including industry overhead costs, medical and drug sales practices and costs, and government oversight like the FDA.

What role should government play in boosting the economy?

What changes should be made to the tax code?

The tax code needs to be further simplified. There are too many special interests represented in the thousands of pages of the tax code. I would keep certain deductions like charitable giving and all other taxes paid as I do not think you should pay income tax on money already used to pay another tax (sales, property, etc.) The business tax code should also be simplified and provide incentives for creating jobs and economic growth.
