Rape, incest, and if the life of the mother is a risk.
What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers in the Constitution?
The nature of mankind is to seek out power and control, so that there is only one person or group in change. The Founders understood this and wisely created our system of checks and balances to ensure that no one person or group could completely take over the government and shape it to their wants.
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
I believe that Jesus is the Christ, Son of the Living God. At a young age I found Christ. I was raised in the Church. My father is a minister, and my two brothers are as well. My service took me into healthcare, and now government service. I believe it is important to have leaders with a strong Christian moral compass. This great county was build on Christian values, and it will continue to stay strong with Christian leaders in place. I am very active in my Church. I am the back up Worship leader, I work in our sound room, and each year I write a walk through drama geared for teens called "Face Your Fears."
When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and immigration, which of the following best describes you overall?

What is the best way to bring down unemployment?
The best way to bring down unemployment is to get businesses to invest in the local economy. This comes from eliminating risk for the business, such as lower taxes, and lighter regulations.
How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?
Growing up we rarely had healthcare. We were poor, but sometimes not poor enough to get Medicaid. With the Affordable Healthcare Act, my parents were able to purchase insurance for the first time. I'm thankful for this because a couple years later my father had a brain tumor, and spent a month in the hospital recovering. Had he not had insurance coverage, he probably would not have gone to the doctor. I think healthcare coverage is essential for our citizens. To make it more affordable, and accessible for all we have to drive down costs. Healthcare needs to be more transparent, we need to open up State boundaries to drive competition, and we need to get control of the inflated costs in the pharma industry. After these items are taken care of the cost of healthcare should go down. We also need to make it easier for small employers to find plans at reasonable rates that they can then offer their employees.
What role should government play in boosting the economy?
Government's role in boosting the economy should be based on providing the best business environment for companies and investors to thrive. This includes lower taxes, less regulations, fast tracking applications for bigger projects, and working with business and education to ensure a skills ready workforce.
What education or experience qualifies you to hold the office for which you seek election?
In the private sector I have created jobs, and saved jobs in Southern Ohio. While working with the State of Ohio, I eliminated millions in government waste and improved the citizen experience. I bring a unique experience that combines my private and public sector experience which I can use to understand and navigate all aspects of creating more jobs for district 90.
