What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers in the Constitution?
The Founders saw firsthand that danger of entrusting too much authority in any one individual. They recognized that absolute power corrupts. Therefore, they drafted a Constitution that delineated specific duties and powers between the three branches of government so that there was a check and balance system preventing one person or branch from amassing absolute power.

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
I believe in God and I believe most religions believe in God. Because I am a Christian, I believe that Jesus is the son of God and that Jesus was sent to die on the cross to forgive our sins since we are incapable of living a totally sin free life. We have all sinned and come short of the glory of God. Our country was founded upon that principle but America was started so that people could escape persecution for their religious beliefs
Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?
Only if the mother's life is at risk.
When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and immigration, which of the following best describes you overall?

How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?
Reforming our health care delivery system to improve the quality and value of care is essential to address escalating costs, poor quality, and increasing numbers of Americans without health insurance coverage. Thoughtfully constructed reforms would support greater access to health-improving care — in contrast to the current system, which encourages more tests, procedures, and treatments that are at best unnecessary and at worst harmful. We need to replace the Affordable Care Act and replace it with a new program that works for small businesses.

What role should government play in boosting the economy?
I believe that small businesses are the growth engine of the American economy. They employ millions of people, they should be given opportunities to grow and prosper, rather than being stifled by regulations. 1. Reduce taxes 2) Reduce regulations

What education or experience qualifies you to hold the office for which you seek election?
I earned my MBA from Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri, and BSBA at Ashland University, while playing both football and lacrosse. I have been married for over 30 years. My wife and I are proud of all 4 of the children and their accomplishments. Especially their two sons who are serving in the United States Military. I currently serve as President of the Plain Township Board of Trustees, for the past 10 years. Under my leadership, the Township has implemented measures to reduce costs to taxpayers without reducing services, expanded the parks, and attracted new businesses to the community. I have 33 years of business experience in treasury, finance, and business development with large and small companies. I have the experience to plan and manage Ohio’s financial future. We know Ohio will face real budget challenges challenges 2019,and we need representatives in the General Assembly who have the business acumen to deal with complex issues with legislation.
