What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers in the Constitution?
America’s Founding Fathers were extremely deep thinkers. As students of history, they knew what had worked in previous governments and what had not worked. They understood the most important issues that’d always be relevant to American citizens.
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
I am a Roman Catholic. I am a proud weekly mass attendee and also attend numerous other services at churches around the district. I have always believed in thinking with depth.
When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and immigration, which of the following best describes you overall?
Somewhat Conservative
Please provide publicly available information validating your answer to the previous question.
I don’t believe this is a universal label for a candidate’s stance. There are too many subjective views in some of these questions. I’m very conservative when it comes to budget issues.
What is the best way to bring down unemployment?
Foster an environment that can help the private sector create more jobs.
How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?
As a state representative, I would engage health care providers to always provide the best affordable coverage to residents, encourage proactive screenings, and work with medical institutions so they’d know they have a partner in Columbus.
What role should government play in boosting the economy?
Implementing policies that help citizens bring home more of what they earn.
What education or experience qualifies you to hold the office for which you seek election?
Double graduate from the University of Dayton. Two term Clayton City Council Member. 2014-2018 State Rep. Is there anything else you would like voters to know about you?
I’d always ask residents of the 43rd House District to reach out to me to hear where I stand on many local issues. Subjective surveys are not how residents should get to know candidates. I’d love to meet with every HD43 resident that reads this survey and earn their support from real discussion.
