Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

I believe that life starts at conception and that innocent life should be protected in all circumstances. I believe that all life is equal and I don't believe that a life is any less of a life because it is the result of rape or incest, therefore I believe there is NO circumstance in which abortion should be legal or allowed.

What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers in the Constitution?

They very wisely understood that no one individual should hold that much power. Man, by nature, is carnal and as a result we live in a broken world. Our founders were escaping a tyrant king, and sacrificed everything to create a government that would be for the people, by the people. And government needs to be held accountable.

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I believe that Jesus Christ came down to a broken world to seek and save the lost. I believe that He came to set the captive free, to redeem a lost humanity. I believe that He sacrificed his Holiness on the cross to take on the sin of the world, so that we could be redeemed and seated in heavenly places. A task we could never accomplish on our own. I believe that God desperately desires to heal our broken nation, and I see that happening specifically right now through the opioid epidemic. God is reaching down into the deepest, darkest places and rescuing people and bringing them back to life. Satan comes to steal, to kill and destroy, but Jesus came to bring life abundantly. I believe that the church is in danger right now of being too influenced by the world, but God is moving in this country and if His people will be obedient, a great revival can happen in this country.

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and immigration, which of the following best describes you overall?

Very Conservative

Please provide publicly available information validating your answer to the previous question.

CityofMiamsiburg.org offers city council minutes will be validate my consistent conservative voting record.

What is the best way to bring down unemployment?

Reduce tax burden and regulation. The government can not create jobs, but they can get out of the way so that businesses can create jobs.

How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?

The expansion of Medicaid has had an adverse effect- raising health care and making care less accessible. Eliminating the individual mandate and removing obstacles for private insurance will instantly reduce cost. "Free" healthcare only shifts the cost to private payers. A free and open market will reduce the cost and raise the quality for everyone.

What role should government play in boosting the economy?

Eliminate waste and lower taxes. Much like my answer to #30, the best thing the government can do is get out of the way. False inflation, the arbitrary printing of money and endless spending have sent us into an economic tailspin. The open market will boost itself if the government would allow it to.

What education or experience qualifies you to hold the office for which you seek election?

I have a BA in History and Political Science and have spent the last 9 years serving on City Council, learning and understanding the local problems our communities are facing (like double taxation in annexed properties, the opioid epidemic and burdensome regulation from the state) and I have been successful in allowing business growth through tax incentives and encouraging faith based drug treatment. I have also spent most of my professional career in healthcare management including running a small business. I understand first hand what small businesses have to wade through dealing with various levels of taxation and forms and regulations. It's oppressive and needs to change.

Is there anything else you would like voters to know about you?

I have dedicated my adult life to service to my community in every way possible. I am not interested in political power or 'climbing the ladder', I just want to serve my community in the best way I can. I think we are facing some dangerous policy on a state level, our own Republican governor wants to limit our second amendment rights and veto'd the Heartbeat Bill. We need good conservative leadership. Our current representative supported legislation to abolish the death penalty, voted to expand Obamacare in Ohio and voted against legislation to incentivize finding cures to common diseases through the open market, even though every pro life organization in Ohio was supporting it, and spends his time bragging about his awards and television appearances. This community deserves better, more conservative leadership, so I'm stepping up to offer that.
