Please provide publicly available information validating your answer to the previous question.
My website, joelmspitzer.com, proclaims my beliefs very clearly.
What is the best way to bring down unemployment?
The only way to bring down unemployment is by allowing lower taxes, capitalism, and empowering people to drive down unemployment.
How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?
The way to promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable, and accessible to all is to allow a free market to drive costs down while increasing the quality and accessibility of healthcare.. It is not the government's responsibility.
What role should government play in boosting the economy?
Very little, if any, as a free market should dictate and drive our economy. I find the government's role to be limited to less intrusive and restrictive government and lowering taxes to drive a robust free market.
What education or experience qualifies you to hold the office for which you seek election?
I think I am uniquely qualified to hold this office due to my wide range of capabilities, experience and my educational background. I am a proud veteran of the United States Air Force. I have earned undergraduate degrees in Sociology, Criminology, Political Science, and History. I have a J.D and I am currently working on a Ph.D in School Finance. I have spent time as a teacher and as a school administrator. I own a law firm and therefore have knowledge of both the legal industry and nuance of small business ownership. I have been the Orange Township Fiscal Officer since 2008 and I have enjoyed working for the people who elected me. I also believe that my experience as a father of four young children has influenced my worldview in a way that allows me to relate well to the other working people in my district, juggling parenthood and their careers.
E-mail address and phone number for voters to reach you:
I may be reached by email at joel@joelmspitzer.com and by phone number at 614-987-8008.
Is there anything else you would like voters to know about you?
It is extremely important to me to help others. Growing up, I had a difficult childhood that saw me become a ward of the state, not raised by my natural parents, spending time in over 30 different public schools as I navigated the K-12 curriculum. I feel like my ability to overcome my past and be where I am today is not just a great example of what it can mean to pursue and achieve the American dream, but a testament to those who throughout my life helped me become the person I was able to become. I try to pay it forward by engaging in my own philanthropic efforts. I have purchased cars and awarded them to a single mothers. My family and I have provided free homes to needy families. I have paid for college freshmen's first year of college. I am always eager to involve my four children in our efforts and they too have learned the importance of giving to others, as well as the happiness it can bring them to know they are making a difference.
