OTHER IMPORTANT ISSUES
Human life begins at conception and deserves legal protection at every stage until natural death.
Agree
I am in favor of construction of a wall and other necessary infrastructure on our border that gives complete control over entering and exiting the United States.
Strongly Agree
Governments should not discriminate against individuals, organizations or small businesses because of their belief that marriage is only a union of one man and one woman.
Neutral
Governments should define marriage as between one man and one woman; no other definition of marriage should be legalized or supported with taxpayer or public funds.
Strongly Agree
It is the government’s responsibility to be sure everyone has a livable income.

Religious liberty is at risk in the United States and deserves the highest level of protection in the law.

The United States should help defend Israel from attack by its enemies.

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?
There is a sound argument to exempt rape & incest.
What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of radical Islamic terrorism?
1) Hold Saudi Arabia to their promise to preach to the world of Islam there is no heaven for those responsible for terrorism. 2) Revoke the VISA's of any visitors to the US that make their way onto the FBI's terrorist screening database and send them home. 3) Take serious look at Saudi Arabia's network of mosques across the US which may provide safe haven for Islamic extremism. Why does a sovereign nation need to run a chain of places of worship in the US? 4) Monitor high risk mosques in the US for extremist activities. 5) End our refugee programs that have been utterly corrupted.
What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers in the Constitution?
Freedom is ultimately the power of choice. Our Constitution is the protectorate of minority interests. Our Founding Fathers were wise to spell out exactly what the responsibilities of the federal government are thereby deferring everything else to the people to decide for themselves, choice. The consolidation of money & power is a corrupting influence, one that we have seen play out during the past 25 years.
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
I believe in treating others as I would expect to be treated. The opinion & choices of others deserves the same respect as my own.
When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and immigration, which of the following best describes you overall?
Conservative

How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?
1) End ACA 2) Eliminate state boundaries for insurance sales 3) Eliminate price fixing across the healthcare community so providers can disclose their fees to patients without any reprisals from the insurance companies. It is impossible to shop for services when there are no prices available from which to choose. 4) High risk or patients with existing conditions are best suited for high risk pools.
What role should government play in boosting the economy?
Spend and regulate less.
What changes should be made to the tax code?
1) Make the new individual rates permanent. 2) We should consider eliminating all business taxes because these taxes are all paid by their customers. Consider that Amazon pays little if any income taxes as compared to WalMart or Target while competing in the same market. Different tax liabilities driven exclusively by tax policy and not business fundamentals isn't healthy for a competitive business community. 3) End the carried-interest provision. It should have been eliminated last go-around.
What is the best way to bring down unemployment?
Make work more attractive than government handouts coupled with tying public assistance to work requirements for those able to work.
How would you guarantee Social Security benefits for future generations?
1) We have already begun to adjust the "retirement age", and should continue to do so periodically. 2) The index needs to reflect the circumstances of retirees and not the general public. 3) Periodically adjusting the cap on earnings is necessary. 4) The Disability program needs a serious overhaul to root out the fraud.
What education or experience qualifies you to hold the office for which you seek election?
1) I operate a small cow-calf operation on the family farm in Bellaire,Ohio and have done so since 2001. 2) My business interests includes PFC Foods, LLC which is the only company in the world to produce a food grade green tea sold in a shaker dispenser for use on food. 3) I invented RanchHand Polywire on a Reel used for temporary fencing for cattle & horses. Distributed by Dare Products (Lansing, MI) thru retail outlets like Rural King until my reel manufacturer closed up shop. 4) From 2001-2009 part of the family farm was used for a 9-hole public golf course named Majestic Pines which I operated in addition to my other business interests. 5) While at Barnett Banks of Florida after graduating from Ohio State, I managed the strategic planning, asset/liability management & budget responsibilities for the Palm Beach affiliate having 41 branch offices and 1,000+ employees. 6) I volunteered as an intern for Ohio State Senator Sam Speck from 1980-82.

Is there anything else you would like voters to know about you?
Five things Blazek will not do. 1) I will not turn this public office into a career, 2) I will not become a useful idiot for special interests, 3) I will not use campaign finance as a substitute for the hard work it takes to be in the District to stay informed of the needs of people in the District, 4) I will not vote for any law that fails to include members of congress and 5) I will not be party to the "zombie accounting" practices used by career politicians to enrich themselves and will promise to donate any money in any campaign accounts to charity upon leaving office.
