QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

Abortion being defined as the intentional taking of an innocent human life: never.

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

Strongly Agree

Abortion (as defined above) should never be legal and this would not be a problem if it wasn't.

I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.

Strongly Disagree

Life is to be honored, respected and cherished until natural death provides no further opportunity for us to do so.

ECONOMY

What changes, if any, should be made to the tax code?

Abolish the IRS. Ensure that the income tax is abolished and we fully return to a direct tax being apportioned among the several states. If this is not done, then at least go to a flat and uniform (same percentage no matter the income) tax.

What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?

Indiana has a budget surplus but I would seek to end all improper payments (including Covid payments), end health care waste, corporate/artists' welfare, sell unused/vacant Federal properties (on the federal side), end social security over-payments, significantly cut back foreign aid, among others.

Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.

Disagree

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

Strongly Disagree

Under what circumstances can government close churches?

None. Article I Section 2 and 3 of our State Constitution says, "All people shall be secured in the natural right to worship ALMIGHTY GOD, according to the dictates of their own consciences." (Section 2) and, "No law shall, in any case whatever, control the free exercise and enjoyment of religious opinions, or interfere with the rights of conscience." (Section 3). Church is where religious opinions are enjoyed, therefore no law can be allowed which will seek to control a church's operations.

HEALTHCARE

What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D)Tax-payer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be de-funded.

D

Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?

None.

NATIONAL SECURITY

What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of Islamic terrorism?

We could "help" eradicate it, but it's like racism: it will likely never be fully eradicated on earth. The best offense is to change someone's heart that they may change others. For this, the U.S. should fully protect religious freedom so that true Christians may boldly preach "Repent and trust in Christ!" If more of us embraced the truth we could preach and live the Gospel before Islamic peoples and combat the lies which are embraced by Islamic terrorists, that their hearts be not so bent on murder. One thing that definitely doesn't help is our attempts to force liberal democracies on Islamic countries, thereby provoking folks to wrath (we have deposed tyrants in Islamic countries and sought to set up democracies in their stead only for them to end in cesspools of terrorism). We could ensure that we are protecting ourselves defensively by strengthening our borders and screening them to prevent terrorists from entering our country while using intel gathering to identify any threats of attack and stop them accordingly.

I support the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement to pressure Israel to withdraw from occupied territories, remove the separation barrier in the West Bank, allow full equality for Arab-Palestinian citizens of Israel, and promote the rights of Palestinian refugees.

Disagree

IMMIGRATION

The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.

Strongly Agree

Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?

Anyone who is willing to abide by our Federal and State Constitutions and defend them against all enemies, foreign and domestic. Taxpayer dollars should not be used to bring anyone here.

EDUCATION

I support school choice, including voucher programs, tax credits, charter schools, private schools, and home schools.

Strongly Agree

VALUES

Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which is necessary for our system of limited government.

Strongly Agree

I support adding gender identity as a specially protected class in non-discrimination laws.

Strongly Disagree

Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition

Strongly Agree

I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.

Strongly Disagree

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I am a Bible believing Baptist and follower of Christ. I believe one must be born-again or they will not enter the kingdom of God and that this is a supernatural change of heart which only God can do, but He does so through human instrumentation. He does so through us repenting and believing the Gospel: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scripture and that He was buried and on the third day He rose again according to the Scriptures. I believe to love God with all the heart, soul, mind and strength is to be valued above all else, and, like this, we ought to love our neighbor as ourselves. I believe all things must be done to the glory of God and that He has given us all things that pertain to life and godliness in His Word. I believe that American jurisprudence was based on the Second Table (last six of the Ten Commandments) and that we ought to take heed to eternal law over man's fallible opinion.

ELECTIONS AND VOTING

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Strongly Disagree

What laws would you propose to change present voting practices?

Paper ballots with anti-counterfeit measures and personal coding to allow voters to verify their vote privately.

EQUALITY

Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?

No. The U.S. is one of the least racist countries on the plant. It exist but it is not a ubiquitous threat to domestic security.

Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.

Strongly Disagree

ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT

Which comes closest to your view? A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. B) Stricter environmental laws and regulations are worth the cost.

A

I support the use of hydraulic fracking to extract oil and natural gas resources.

Agree

ABOUT YOU

What do you think is the general purpose of government?

I'm in full agreement with our State Constitution: " TO THE END, that justice be established, public order maintained, and liberty perpetuated".

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?

Very Conservative

Please provide publicly available information, including interviews and media reports, validating your answer to the previous question (other than your website).

Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized in either civil or criminal court for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.

No.

What else would you like voters to know about you, including your legislative priorities?

I live in Shelbyville with my beloved wife, Chrishawnna. Together, God has blessed us with three precious boys: Enoch, Joshua, and Caleb. I have been radically transformed by the sweet grace and love of JESUS. He saved me in 2004 and I’ve never been the same since. I am an entrepreneur who is self employed as an insurance adjuster, self-defense/firearm instructor and I manage various start-ups. I am a decorated combat veteran of Afghanistan, who has shed my blood seeking to defend our beloved country. I believe that true patriots fight for the Constitution, the Rule of Law, and true freedom at all levels of civil government. They fight with the double edged sword of Truth in these arenas to establish and defend life, liberty and the pursuit of true happiness and prevent by all means possible the physical violence and wickedness that plagues our world. In my “free time” I love to pray, read & study the Word of God, praise Him, train in survival as well as hunt RINOs. Being injured and losing four of our own soldiers in Afghanistan thirty-three days before we were supposed to come home, I take freedom personally. When I raise my right hand to defend the Constitution, I will do so not only knowing what it says, but caring deeply about it as well as the originalist’s intent behind the timeless truths it contains. There are many within the Republican Party that say they are Republicans, but they are doing the exact opposite of what Republican core beliefs are. These are not true Republicans. We need to wake up to what is going on. It’s high time we purge them from the ranks. What motivates me is the love of God with all my heart, soul, mind and strength, and loving my neighbor as I love myself. I desire freedom, and to live a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty for my family and my children and (hopefully) my children’s children. Your vote for me will be one you can make with the utmost confidence that I will say what I mean and mean what I say, and I will do what I have stated I intend to do – so help me God! Please check out my issues page at my website and let me know if there are any questions you have of me! May God bless you abundantly as He has blessed me!

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY

Police officers should be personally immune from prosecution for conduct consistent with departmental policy (qualified immunity) while on duty.

Strongly Agree

I support redirecting funds from police departments to mental health and community programs.

Strongly Disagree

2ND AMENDMENT

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

The ones in place concerning age and violent (or gun using) felons are sufficient enough if they are enforced properly. Other than that: none. Restrictions are more likely to hurt law abiding citizens anyway, as criminals will not care to abide by them and thereby public safety will be jeopardized.

Victims of gun violence should be able to sue firearms dealers and manufacturers.

Strongly Disagree
