Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
I am a conservative Christian belonging to the Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod. I believe that man's only hope is in his salvation through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ - the son of God. I believe that due to man's being created in the image of God, he is a free agent. That is, he has free will and the right to self direction and determination. He is an autonomous being who in many respects to his person is only answerable to God. That is why the forefathers wrote that we have certain inalienable rights. Those rights are part of our divine make-up. They are woven into the fabric of our being by God at our creation. That is why they can never be taken away. They were granted by God and only He has control over them.
When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and immigration, which of the following best describes you overall?
Very Conservative
Please provide publicly available information validating your answer to the previous question.
I am very conservative in regards to fiscal matters. I believe that taxation is theft and that the people should not be deprived of any more of their money than is absolutely required. The government is irresponsible and wasteful with resources to which is has no true right, especially considering that so many things which our taxes are spent on are outside of what the Constitution allows. Regarding social matters, I am also staunchly conservative. I believe that we must, at all cost, preserve the inalienable rights of individual citizens. This means that regarding matters which affect privately owned property, the government needs to leave private citizens alone. I hold this to be true also regarding matters of religion and self determination. As much as we might like to spread Christian values through legislation, if we set that precedent we might create an environment of religious tyranny similar to that of Old England.
What is the best way to bring down unemployment?
The best way to bring down unemployment is to eliminate regulation and unnecessary taxes for businesses. When they have more freedom to operate and are able to retain more of their profits, they will expand and create more jobs. I also believe that individual licensing for jobs such as hairdressers and the like should be eliminated. The free market will sort out who is doing a good or a bad job and when impediments are removed, more people will engage in business and trade.
How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?
One of the best ways to sort this out would be for doctors, hospitals and insurance companies to publish their prices. If prices were fixed in this way then a hospital would not be able to charge one price for a procedure when a patient is paying out of pocket and then to charge a highly inflated price when insurance is covering the bill. If inflated prices could be eliminated, then insurance would become much affordable.
What role should government play in boosting the economy?
The best way to boost the economy is to eliminate regulation and government manipulation so that we can thrive through free market capitalism.
What education or experience qualifies you to hold the office for which you seek election?
I was raised on a dairy farm and worked my way through college in a local factory. I do not come from a political family. I do not even particularly like politics but I see a need and I am trying to fill it. I understand the struggles of common every day people. Not only do I understand where the people are coming from, but I am open to talking with them and available any time. Constituents are welcome to call or write to me as well as simply to stop in and sit on the porch to discuss things. I am here to serve and to help people in every way that I can.

Is there anything else you would like voters to know about you?
I am just a regular guy who is getting tired of his rights being infringed upon by the government which thinks it knows what is best for me. It is time for us to draw a line and take back our lives without having to worry about whether we are breaking some law in the process. If I am elected, I will fight for Constitutional Carry and other common sense conservative laws which should have absolutely no opposition in the State House. I'm not a party hack. I don't care about what any one thinks of me. I just want to serve my friends and neighbors while I strive to make Indiana a better state which is more free.
