What education or experience qualifies you to hold the office for which you seek election?
My career and experience. I'm a current school board member for a regional school district in the Rio Grande Valley and have been for over three years. I've been involved in community organizations, like Leadership Brownsville and the Valley International Community Development Corporation, that have helped bring awareness to educational resources and have provided scholarships to youth respectively. My passion is education. I am a firm believer that a strong education is a driver for personal and professional success.
