Although Texas is experiencing a low unemployment rate, more jobs. Manufacturing and more high tech jobs would be the most effective for the state of Texas.

To a large extend. Government should be promoting manufacturing and high tech jobs for Texas. We need to understand that by placing regulations and additional taxation burdens business & industry. We need to remove barriers that stop business growth and allow enterprise to grow without additional burdens. Let's promote new business for the State.

Living on the border has exposed me to views from a conservative to a liberal point of view. We have law in existence that must be followed.

What education or experience qualifies you to hold the office for which you seek election?

I have a MBA in International Trade. Bilingual. Chairman of the Texas Appraiser Licensing & Certification Board(TALCB), appointed by Gov Perry. Business owner. Almost 20 years experience in transportation working in US, Mexico & Canada. 4 years experience working in City Hall as an administrative assistant to the City Manager. 10 years in education at Laredo College assisting high school students earn college credit. 18 years as a Real Estate Certified Appraiser and a Real Estate Broker. I'm also the Chair of the Construction Committee with NeighborWorks Laredo and recently completed a 22 unit apartment complex for moderate to low income housing income recipients.
