No Answer
Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?
None
What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers in the Constitution?
As Lord Acton said, "power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely." Power concentrated in the hands of one person has a corrupting influence as our Founders witnessed with King George, which is why they were insistent upon having the powers of the government separated into three different branches.
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
I am a Christian and strive each day to become more Christ-like, knowing that each day my sinful nature will cause me to fall short, but knowing that by the Grace of God I will have eternal salvation through Jesus Christ when I depart my earthly body. I feel called to run for public office so that I may use my God-given talents to be a small part of a greater movement to return our nation to the Christian values upon which it was founded.
When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and immigration, which of the following best describes you overall?
Very Conservative
Please provide publicly available information validating your answer to the previous question.
Libertydefense.org. In 1999, I founded The Civil Liberties Defense Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit legal foundation, for the purpose of defending the inalienable rights guaranteed by the Bill of Rights of the U.S. Constitution and to educate the public regarding those rights. In 2000, CLDF filed a lawsuit on behalf of Texas legislators and gun stores against 31 liberal cities across the country who were attempting to litigate gun manufacturers out of business and infringe upon our right to Keep and Bear Arms as protected by the 2nd Amendment. Once this counterattack was launched, the efforts by greedy trial lawyers and Leftist mayors fell apart. Today, CLDF is suing Sanctuary Cities to restore law and order to Texas cities.
What is the best way to bring down unemployment?
Lower taxes so that entrepreneurs can put that capital to work to expand their businesses and create new jobs.
How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?
Reduce mandates and allow for the sale of health insurance across state lines.
What role should government play in boosting the economy?
The best way for the government to boost the economy is to keep taxes low and get out of the way.
What education or experience qualifies you to hold the office for which you seek election?
I have worked my entire career on behalf of agriculture and rural Texas. I spent 10 years as a legislative staffer working for rural members of the Legislature and another 10 years representing organizations such as the Texas & Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association, the Texas Forestry Association, the Catfish Institute of America, the State Firemen's and Fire Marshals' Association and the Texas Veterinary Medicine Association. The Department of Agriculture needs an intelligent, articulate leader who can be an advocate for agriculture and rural Texas at the State and Federal level.

Is there anything else you would like voters to know about you?
I will restore honesty, integrity, and fiscal responsibility to the Department of Agriculture. I will lower fees that have skyrocketed under the current commissioner and are burdening farmers, ranchers, and other small businesses. I will reduce the size of the bureaucracy and ensure that the Department of Agriculture is focused on Agriculture again.
