Many pro life proposals are before the US Congress. Life should be protected from when the heart begins to beat until when the heart stops beating. Euthenasia is becoming a stark reality for parents in a few states where those same parents advocated for abortion at the beginning of life. I believe funds should be available for those who need parenting skills or resources and we strongly support our Crisis Pregnancy Center also known as Pregnancy Resource Centers.

Our national debt is rising at $1 trillion every 100 days. Deficit spending is unfathomable; handcuffs our children and grandchildren. We must eliminate unnecessary spending & regulations and move the delivery of many services to the local level.

Our founding fathers protected us from a national church, such as the Church of England, that could impose taxes, persecute and choose winners and losers. Our republic and capitalism only works through Christian values such as hard work and honesty. Jefferson coined the phrase, and wrote his own Bible which eliminated miracles and other elements of the Christian Bible. Our republic does not need prayer out of school but needs the teaching of Christian values in the public square.
Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

B) The United States should selectively help countries trying to grow democracy and fight tyranny. About 12% of our supply chains/cargo ships go through the Suez Canal/Red Sea. I believe in peace through strength and we must be decisive and deliberate as a leader in the free world. We need a cease fire in the Ukraine where Russia keeps the Russian speaking area of Crimea and the Ukrainians keep the mineral rich Dumbas region with a wall/border in this area.

A strong military is a constitutional requirement for the federal government. We must work to win the heart and minds of those around the world to stop the spread of Socialism/Communism. I am a Judeo Christian believer who accepted Jesus Christ's death on the cross as an atonement for my sins. I received Jesus Christ, believe in Jesus Christ's birth and death on a cross for my sin and entered into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ/God/Holy Spirit in the 1970s during a vacation Bible School in Summitville, Indiana. My wife and I worship at One Church formerly known as the First Church of the Nazarene in Kokomo, Indiana. I believe the church has abdicated much of its God given responsibilities to the government. We chose to be adoptive parents of 2 children from Romanian orphanages. This deepened my understanding of the need for care for veterans/children with PTSD, etc.

To maintain law and order and this is both domestic and abroad. Our government needs to enforce laws and not pick who will be a winner and who will be a loser. Justice is blind and should not be based on political affiliation. To maintain law and order and this is both domestic and abroad. Our government needs to enforce laws and not pick who will be a winner and who will be a loser. Justice is blind and should not be based on political affiliation. The Supreme Court should be reformed to include more seats.

I am against the packing the court initiative some Democrats would employ to take over our lives and subvert the rule of law. I believe the founding fathers intended for legislators to legislate and justices of the courts to interpret the laws passed by Congress and signed into law by the President. The US Congress needs to reclaim its legislative authority and judges should not make the law or redefine/create terms like the "right to privacy" as a penumbra in the US Constitution.

I support redirecting funds from police departments to community programs.

Police departments serve in so many ways under the 10th amendment. I prosecuted part time for 25 years. Police officers are pulling hair out when called to a home, taking the individual to a hospital due to mental health problems, seeing the individual quickly released and then being called back to the home over and over again. Good law enforcement knows the people they serve and focus their mission in keeping the community safe. In this vein, I am very opposed to defunding the police.

2ND AMENDMENT
What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?
Conceal and carry keeps individuals, especially women, more safe in our big cities where lawlessness is on the rise. Indiana has a system in place where police units can take a gun away from an unsafe individual and a quick hearing is held by a Judge to determine when and if it is safe for the gun to be returned. Obviously, this assessment rests on Judges and police officers to live with integrity. I do not want the government creating a registry of who should and should not have firearms.
