What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers in the Constitution?

I believe the Founders understood the fatal tendency of mankind was the instinct to satisfy man's needs and desires with the least possible pain; basically, to take the path of least resistance. Our Republic was formed to limit this fatalistic tendency in an attempt to protect it's citizens from legal plunder.

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I lean towards a Calvinist understanding of scripture. I believe the Bible contains all the answers to all the important questions, and I believe Jesus was the perfect leader and example.

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and immigration, which of the following best describes you overall?

Very Conservative

Please provide publicly available information validating your answer to the previous question.

I don't have a voting record, and I don't actually have a way to validate why I am very conservative, but I'll explain how I vote in elections. I have mentors that follow politics very closely, and prior to elections, I schedule appointments with them to review the candidates. My goal is always to find the most Constitutionally Conservative candidates. I then share this with my wife, my voting age son, and my friends. While on the campaign trail, I explain what conservative means to me. I tell people conservative means to safe guard and protect your life, your liberty, and your property.

What is the best way to bring down unemployment?

Reform public education and welfare.

How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?

Allow for better competition and remove bureaucratic red tape.

What role should government play in boosting the economy?

By adhering to the intent of the Constitution and removing government over reach, the economy will naturally boost itself.

What education or experience qualifies you to hold the office for which you seek election?

There is a famous quote from the Vietnam War that explains my qualifying experience: "For those who fought for it, freedom has a flavor the protected will never know." I was a successful leader in the Marine Corps; I am a successful leader and advocate in the Veteran non-profit world; I am a successful sales representative in the private sector. All of these things, have developed my ability to lead by example and produce results.

Is there anything else you would like voters to know about you?

Our country and our state is slowly and steadily slipping into socialism, and the current Republican leadership is continuing to fail all of us by not stringently adhering to their principles. I will be a different leader that redefines what a Conservative is and does in a way that even the opposite side of the spectrum will respect. I have already done this with some of the Democrats I have met while block walking in the district. It's all about being a Christian first, a Constitutional Conservative second, and a Republican who actually sticks by the principles that our party holds to be true.
