What is the best way to bring down unemployment?
To encourage growth of businesses by limiting governmental regulation.
How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?
We need to get rid of socialized healthcare and let the market dictate healthcare as it did prior to the Affordable Care Act.
What role should government play in boosting the economy?
The government should limit its role in the economy and allow the free enterprise system to work on its own. The government should refrain from passing legislation that discourages the growth of business.
What education or experience qualifies you to hold the office for which you seek election?
Over the past ten years I have represented and worked with various cities throughout the state of Texas. After graduating from Texas Tech University and St. Mary's School of Law, I joined a law firm representing cities in complex litigation. I have been invited to testify before senate and house committees on local government issues and have helped draft legislation to curb municipal overreach.

Is there anything else you would like voters to know about you?
After talking face to face with many residents in District 121 the most important issues that need to be addressed next session are property taxes and school finance. Property taxes in Texas are skyrocketing from local governments accruing too much debt and wasteful spending. School districts are also accruing too much debt and spending too much money on administration, facility expenses, and overhead. Rising debt is forcing cities to lower spending on necessary services such as fire and police protection. Cities are resorting to aggressive annexation of rural land to increase its tax base. This further stretches the already strained local necessary services resulting in more crime and less protection. When elected I will work to implement a system of transparency and a higher level of scrutiny when local governments and school districts issue debt such as bonds. In addition to property taxes, I will work hard to achieve a higher level of protection and consent from residents.
