I voted in these primaries and general elections:

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

Jeremiah 1:5 says Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations. While there are some very sad circumstances that can lead to a pregnancy, I can't help but feel that God has a destiny and a purpose for EVERY life that is formed. I believe that even when a mother's life is in jeopardy, we should attempt to let the pregnancy go as far as possible and attempt to save both the mother and the child.

What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of radical Islamic terrorism?

I think we need a strong military presence in countries that radical Islamic terrorists call home. While radical Islam is an ideology, it makes it nearly impossible to eradicate, but I believe taking on the various groups that promote and participate in acts of terrorism is the course of action needed. I believe we should engage them in the places they call home, acting instead of reacting. We need to send the message that the destruction of innocent lives will not be tolerated.

What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers in the Constitution?

Basically stated, this was done to make sure that we have a balanced governing body, that no one part can impart their will upon the entire body of people that make up our country. Each branch is specifically defined so as to check and counter the others to prevent too much power being levied from one branch.

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

My spiritual belief is that of the Pentecostal faith. I believe in the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. My devotion to God is above all else in my life, followed by my covenant relationship (the way I view marriage) with my wife and my relationship with my children. I believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God, sent to die for our sins on the cross, rose on the 3rd day, and is at the right hand of The Father in Heaven until He returns again. The Holy Spirit is the form by which He abides in us. I believe that confession of Christ as Savior and asking forgiveness of our sins is the only way receive salvation.

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and immigration, which of the following best describes you overall?

Very Conservative

Please provide publicly available information validating your answer to the previous question.

Never having held, or ran, for any other public office, I am not sure if there is any public information to prove that what I have stated is true. However, there are several television, newspaper, and web interviews where I have stated these very same things that are available. We have done several interviews on Fox News, Fox Business, CNN, and we were even interviewed by Yahoo News on election night, 2016 that should reiterate what I have stated here.

How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?

If our government is going to be involved in our healthcare system, then we must make sure that we have affordable coverage for everyone. To do that, we must make sure that people have more than one option, and allowing for competition in the marketplace is the best way to do that. I think we need to make sure that the aspects of our current healthcare system that are working are kept in place, but we need to replace the parts that are not. We also need to make sure that no federal money is given to people that perform controversial acts like abortion.

What role should government play in boosting the economy?

I think the government can play a large part in boosting our economy by streamlining regulations and allowing American businesses the opportunity to compete here in our country instead of moving plants, divisions, etc. to foreign countries to save money. I believe any regulations or taxes that are imposed domestically should be equally or more heavily applied to products and services from other nations. That would either mean lowering those on American products, or raising those from many outside countries.

What changes should be made to the tax code?

I personally believe that no one should be singled out because of the amount of money they make, regardless of how large or small that amount is. I would be in favor of finding a fair, livable percentage to be levied to all incomes and balancing our budget based on that along with reasonable taxes on corporations, etc.

What is the best way to bring down unemployment?

I think the best way to bring down unemployment is to find ways to promote and build free enterprise. The easier that it is for a business to grow and develop, the easier that it is to expand and create employment opportunities. We must also identify current employment needs and deficiencies and address them in our educational system. We should stop forcing people into needless or worthless degrees for the sake of having them. We need to promote and endorse the types of trades that are the cornerstones of our nation and show people that there are opportunities to provide a good wage through the types of jobs that can be taught in our vocational and trade schools.

How would you guarantee Social Security benefits for future generations?

I would fight to make sure that Social Security funding is not distributed elsewhere, and I would fight against any legislation that would be aimed to reduce it. I would also fight to ensure that Social Security's top priority would be those who have paid into this system and those who are physically or mentally unable to contribute its funding. I would also like to make sure that people who are able to provide and contribute to its funding are not able to receive SS benefits until they have done so.

What education or experience qualifies you to hold the office for which you seek election?

Article 1, Section 3 of the Constitution sets 3 qualifications to hold the office of U.S. Senate. One must be 30 years of age, a United States citizen for at least 9 years, and a current resident of that state at the time of the election. I think the fact that I live an everyday life very similar to the people of this state also makes me a better choice to represent the people of West Virginia.

Is there anything else you would like voters to know about you?

I am seeking this office because it is an office of servitude, and what better example of servitude can we look to than Jesus Christ. For far too long, career politicians and CEOs have always been hired for these positions based on their stature, or recognition of name, or because they have or raised the most money. I feel like the people of WV deserve to have someone that is willing to listen to them and give them input. I don't feel like any other candidate is going to do that. I tell my children, "if you don't see the change you want to see, BE the change you want to see." I've been looking for change and don't see it. I am willing to be that change.
