Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?
Deliberately killing a child should never be allowed under any circumstances. There may be cases where the mother of an unborn child needs lifesaving treatment that will likely result in injury or death to her unborn child. In such a case, saving the mother must be prioritized. This is different than deliberately killing the child, however. All life is precious, and it MUST be protected.
What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers in the Constitution?
The founders understood that mankind is inherently sinful and selfish. They knew if government was not restrained, that it would fall into tyranny and despotism.
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
I am a Southern Baptist. In fact, I am the pastor of a Southern Baptist church. I believe that Jesus Christ died for my sin in accordance with the Gospel, that he rose again the third day and defeated death. I believe that all who trust in Him are saved. I believe the Bible is the word of God.
When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and immigration, which of the following best describes you overall?
Very Conservative
Please provide publicly available information validating your answer to the previous question.
I am a pastor, and I have spent my life advocating for Judeo-Christian values, liberty, and fiscal sanity in writings and sermons. These can be found online.
What is the best way to bring down unemployment?
The way to reduce unemployment, is to reduce government interference in the economy. When government saddles businesses with burdensome regulations and taxes, businesses are less able to thrive, and less able to employ larger numbers of people.
How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?
This is not the job of government. Government needs to quit interfering in the health insurance industry, so that the free market and competition can drive down prices and increase access.
What role should government play in boosting the economy?
Government needs to get out of the way. Eliminate taxes and regulations, and the economy will thrive.
What education or experience qualifies you to hold the office for which you seek election?
I believe anyone can make a good state representative. Whether you are a doctor or lawyer, pastor, plumber or auto-mechanic, everyone contributes by bringing their own unique perspective to the Texas legislature. It is not education or experience that makes a good legislator. Its honesty, integrity, and common sense. I believe I possess these qualities.

Is there anything else you would like voters to know about you?
I am running for this office, in order to be a true representative of the people. I am not an establishment politician; I am a political outsider who has never run for office. I want to fight for what is right, on behalf of the people of my district, and the state of Texas. I humbly ask for your support.
