14. What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers within the Constitution?
The Founding Fathers recognized that all men are fallible and those who were Christians understood the concept of original sin. Therefore, they sought to keep men from becoming corrupted by limiting the powers of government, especially at the federal level. As long as the people were vigilant and had truthful sources of information the Constitutional system worked very well and America become the most free and prosperous country which had ever existed.
15. Briefly list three (3) political or legislative issues of most concern to you, and explain why each is important to you.
1. Ending the police state by impeaching Barack Obama for treason, war crimes, murder and attempting to destroy the Constitution and establish a dictatorship, defunding and repealing the Homeland Security Department, Drug War, NSA, CIA, FBI, DEA, FDA, EPA and all other fedgov agencies and laws, especially gun control which the Constitution does not authorize or which are not necessary. 2. Stopping World War III by selling all foreign bases, bringing all troops home, ending foreign "aid", getting the U.S. out of the UN, and stopping illegal alien invasion by reimplementing Eisenhower's successful 1954 program, Operation Wetback, positioning troops and building a wall if necessary and all other measures which will not violate the rights of Americans or lawful guests. 3. Ending Depression by passing Liberty Amendment to sell all nonconstitutionally held fedgov businesses and land, repeal income tax, abolishing Federal Reserve System and replacing it with honest gold or silver money.
16. Should abortion be allowed under extenuating circumstances? If so, what circumstances?
Abortion is murder. If you abort due to rape, incest or impregnation of an underage girl, you are executing an innocent baby for the crime of its father. If a mother must undergo a medical procedure to save her life or prevent permanent injury, it is morally acceptable as self defense but not required for her to save her life at the cost of the child's life. Dr. Ron Paul, an obstetrician and gynecologist who delivered over 4,000 babies, stated that he never had to sacrifice a baby to save the life of its mother. I support Hon. Dr. Paul's Sanctity of Life Act, defunding and repealing all federal laws which allow or finance abortion and removing the appellate jurisdiction of the Supreme Court over abortion cases so that the states regain their authority to punish abortion, just as they punish all other forms of murder. I fear giving constitutional authority over abortion to the fedgov since it is likely to pervert its power as it has done in so many other matters.
17. Based on the Declaration of Independence and the U.S. Constitution, please arrange the following entities, starting with the highest source of authority, and continue the list in descending order of authority, skipping any that do not apply: Academia, Congress, Constitution, God, Industry, Media, Professional Sports, Supreme Court, Voters.
God, the U.S. Constitution according to intent of its writers, voters when they adhere to the above, Congress only when it adheres to God's Law, as revealed by Holy Bible and Constitution, and the Supreme Court when it adheres to the Constitution.
18. Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
I am a life member of Archangel Michael Orthodox Church, now located in Broadview Heights, Ohio. I believe that God is creator of everything and that Jesus Christ is His only begotten Son, who came into the world to save sinner, that He was crucified for out sins and rose from the dead and that He will come again to bring judgment. As a Christian, I believe that everyone is equal before God and should be equal before the law and that the protection of his God-given rights of life, liberty and the lawful acquisition of property are the only legitimate purposes of government. As a Christian and a L/libertarian, I renounce the initiation of force for any personal gain or for any political or other private goal but retain my God-given right to defend my life, liberty and property from anyone who would take it from me by force or fraud. If I am elected, I would never raise taxes or fees, impose new ones or deprive anyone of his God-given or natural rights.
