QUESTIONNAIRE
RIGHT TO LIFE
Human life begins at conception and deserves legal protection at every stage until natural death.
Strongly Agree
Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds or grants from federal, state, or local governments.
Strongly Agree
Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?
None
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
Governments should not discriminate against individuals, organizations or small businesses because of their belief that marriage is only a union of one man and one woman.
Strongly Agree
Governments should define marriage as between one man and one woman; no other definition of marriage should be legalized or supported with taxpayer or public funds.
Strongly Agree
Religious liberty is at risk in the United States and deserves the highest level of protection in the law.
Strongly Agree
NATIONAL SECURITY
I am in favor of construction of a wall and other necessary infrastructure on our border that gives complete control over entering and exiting the United States.
Strongly Agree
Islamic law (Sharia) should take precedence over national and state laws where there are Islamic majority communities in the U. S.
Strongly Disagree

Strongly Disagree
The best way to maintain peace is through a strong military.
Strongly Agree
HEALTHCARE
It is the government’s responsibility to be sure everyone has health insurance.
Strongly Disagree
How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?
Allow open market competition nationwide for insurance policies. Minimize government involvement in healthcare delivery (rescind obama care). Limit "free" medical services to those necessary for serious or life threatening emergencies and temporarily for those trulyin need.
ECONOMY
It is the government’s responsibility to be sure everyone has a livable income.
Strongly Disagree
Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.
Strongly Agree
The state constitution should limit the growth of spending to the rate of population growth plus the rate of inflation.
Strongly Agree
Congress should pass a balanced budget amendment to the Constitution.
Strongly Agree
What is the best way to bring down unemployment?
Eliminate government regulations that limit competition. Keep Taxes low and eliminate regulations that drive companies to locate outside of the United States. Limit regulations to those necessary to protect individual health and safety. Better Education: Change the focus of public education WANTS from "more money" to "higher student achievement" by moving from an "institution centric" system to a "student/teacher/parent centric" system. Fifty years of near continuous increased spending (almost 200% inflation \adjusted increase) in education has not meaningfully increased academic achievement. Education Savings Accounts (ESA) which put control and responsibility back in the hands of students/teachers/parents has proven in several states to improve academic achievement, reduce dropout rates, improve graduation rates, reduce incarnation rates, improve college attendance/graduation, raised studincomes and increase teacher salaries and their authority in the classroom; a win-win-win pr
What role should government play in boosting the economy?
Limit regulations on businesses to those necessary to protect public health and safety. Eliminate government crony-capatilism programs that pick winners and loser in the market place. Eliminate regulations that drive companies to operate businesses outside the United States. Eliminate regulations that limit competition in the market place. Eliminate regulations that increase operations or product cost without a value added benefit. Eliminate the state franchise tax.
EDUCATION
Tuition-free public education should be guaranteed through college.
Strongly Disagree
CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY
I support the death penalty.
Strongly Agree
Mandatory minimum sentencing should be required and enforced for violent crimes.
Strongly Disagree
2ND AMENDMENT
More restrictive gun control is needed to protect public safety.
Strongly Disagree
OTHER IMPORTANT ISSUES
People should be able to vote without photo identification.
Strongly Disagree

Is there anything else you would like voters to know about you?
SD 2 is one of the most conservative districts in Texas. The people of SD 2 have a rare opportunity to select between two candidates who polar opposites. My Democratic opponent has no record of any military, political or business accomplishments. We are politically polar opposites: I am 100% pro life, my opponent is 100% abortion on demand I am for strong border security, my opponent is for totally open borders I am for lower taxes and less spending, my opponent is for increasing taxes and increasing spending I am for limited government regulations, my opponent wants extensive government regulations I am for free-market healthcare, my opponents wants single-payer government controlled healthcare I am for improving public education outcomes, my opponent just wants to increase Pub Ed spending A compelling sense of duty, shaped by my military service, business experience, and love for this country, drives me to leave behind the legacy of a patriotic servant for future generations.
VALUES
Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which permitted our system of limited government.

Strongly Agree
What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers in the Constitution?
Man's heart is basically evil.
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
The Bible is inerrant. Jesus is God's only Son, born of the virgin Mary, crucified dead and buried. On the third day He arose from the dead, accented into heaven and today sits at the righthand of God. God sacrificed His Son that all who accept Him as Lord and Savior may be saved and live eternally with God. Salvation is a free gift from God. It cannot be bought or earned. God alone gave us the inalienable rights that are enshrined in our Constitution. Go, Son and Holy Spirit; three in one ,one in three.
