Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?
I am strongly pro-life, and I believe that life begins at conception. As a matter of public policy, I would have exceptions for rape, incest, and the life of the mother.
What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers in the Constitution?
Individuals are often prone to temptation in many different forms. As such, our Founders purposefully limited the powers of government, and we separate these powers across different areas to preclude a tyrannical state that destroys the freedoms all Americans and Pennsylvanians should enjoy
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
I was raised in the tenets of the Catholic Church serving as an altar boy early in life. Those tenets— a belief in the inherent goodness in all God’s children, the sanctity of all human life, and the individual responsibility to look after one’s neighbor would be core beliefs guiding my policy decisions.
When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and immigration, which of the following best describes you overall?
Very Conservative
Please provide publicly available information validating your answer to the previous question.
Please be sure to read my policy platforms on my website at www.mangoforpa.com. In particular, I would highlight our overarching policy document, Restore the Dream. Also of interest would be our policy platforms: Faith, Family, and Pennsylvania Values, as well as our government reform plan: A 21st Century Pennsylvania Government.
What is the best way to bring down unemployment?
1) Reduce incentives not to work through ineffective and inefficient social programs that lock people into poverty 2) Bring dignity back to the trades to allow for worker retraining to increase economic mobility 3) Invest in strategic infrastructure to ensure that Pennsylvania capitalizes its advantageous location and access to domestic and global markets 4) Reduce taxation and burdensome regulation that prevents investment and economic growth
How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?
As Governor, I would apply for a waiver from the federal government regarding both the Medicaid expansion and the individual mandate. This waiver would: 1) Put the consumer at the center of health care 2) Encourage innovation among providers 3) Promote wellness and prevention 4) Provide cost transparency 5) Implement tort reform
What role should government play in boosting the economy?
1) Lowering regulatory barriers to entrepreneurship 2) Empowering innovation across our local communities 3) Lowering taxes, particularly our business and property taxes
What education or experience qualifies you to hold the office for which you seek election?
1) Leadership experience as a Captain in the 82nd Airborne Division at West Point 2) MBA from Harvard Business School 3) 25 years bringing positive change to large, complex organizations 4) Built a $500M global health care business

Is there anything else you would like voters to know about you?
After my marriage 35 years ago and the births of our five daughters, running for Governor and meeting thousands of Pennsylvanians has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. I would appreciate your support in the Republican primary on May 15th.
