What is the best way to bring down unemployment?
A healthy business environment is the best way to bring down unemployment. Over-regulation,high taxes, artificially set minimum wage all make it difficult for all businesses and small businesses especially.
What role should government play in boosting the economy?
The government should keep the country safe, and as much as possible allow the free market to work
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
Governments should not discriminate against individuals, organizations or business owners because of their deeply held religious beliefs.
Agree
Governments should not penalize those who define marriage as between one man and one woman; no other definition of marriage should be legalized or supported with taxpayer or public funds.
Agree

Agree
HEALTHCARE
It is the government’s responsibility to be sure everyone has health insurance.
Disagree
How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?
There was a proposal in Virginia this year to allow small businesses to band together to get group insurance with better coverage and better rates. I would vote to support that and would also vote to override the veto of the bill the Governor did. In addition, I have been researching some of the suggestions that The Heritage Foundation has done on allowing Medicaid money to be used for private plans. That research seems to show better coverage, lower cost and less utilization of the emergency room.
NATIONAL SECURITY
I am in favor of construction of a wall and other necessary infrastructure on our border that gives complete control over entering and exiting the United States.
No Answer
I support sanctuary cities.
Disagree
