Please defend your answer to the previous question by referencing your publicly available track record.
I have received national recognition for implementing the nation’s toughest crackdown on illegal immigration, resulting in the County turning over more than 7500 criminal illegal aliens to the Immigration & Customs Enforcement (ICE). This led to a 48.7 % drop in violent crime. I made it a priority to reform the business and permitting process. These measures have resulted in the time it takes to start a business being reduced by half. I was first elected Chairman during the worst economic downturn since the Great Depression. $143 million in spending had to be cut from the county budget, producing the largest tax cut in the history of Prince William County. I recently eliminated all fees associated with obtaining a concealed carry permit. The average tax bills remain the lowest in Northern Virginia, 30% below neighboring counties. I led the way in establishing a zero-based budget, forcing departments to cut spending by 5/10/15%.

Additional comment from candidate:
I am running for Governor to take back Virginia from the liberal establishment and political elites in Richmond. This year we continue the grassroots movement that took back the White House. I will work to bring jobs back to the Commonwealth and create a better business climate - especially for those struggling rural regions that need it the most. I will stand with our Law Enforcement, Veterans, and blue collar workers. And I’ll never back down from conservative principles of fighting illegal immigration, defending the Second Amendment, and protecting life. I am not afraid to take on controversial conservative issues even when other Republicans run away. I have run and won countywide for Chairman in Prince William County 4 times. The county has a population of 454,000 and is 54% minority. No other Republican has been able to do so since 2009.
