OTHER IMPORTANT ISSUES

Do you support the proposed $850 million bond in its entirety?

Yes

The $850 million bond is broken into 6 propositions. Which one is most important to you? 1. Streets, bridges & Sidewalks - $446,263,000 2. Drainage & Flood - $138,988,000 3. Parks & Recreation - $187,313,000 4. Library & Cultural - $24,025,000 5. Public Safety Facilities – $34,411,000 6. Neighborhoods – $20 million

Public Safety Facilities

Which of the above six propositions would you vote against? (list all that apply)

I will vote for all 6 propositions.

Congress should repeal the Affordable Care Act (Obamacare).

Strongly Disagree

Governments should define marriage as between one man and one woman; no other definition of marriage should be legalized or supported with taxpayer or public funds.

Strongly Disagree

Human life begins at conception and deserves legal protection at every stage until natural death.

Strongly Agree

The more people live by Judeo-Christian values, the less government is needed.

Disagree

It is the government’s responsibility to be sure everyone has health care and a livable income.

Strongly Agree

I am in favor of construction of a wall and other necessary infrastructure on our border that gives complete control over entering and exiting the United States.

Strongly Disagree

More restrictive gun control laws are needed to protect public safety.

Agree

Planned Parenthood should not receive funds from federal, state, or local governments.

Strongly Disagree

Individuals should be allowed to use public restrooms, showers, and changing rooms based on their "gender identity."

Agree

It is inappropriate for a local government to recognize the terms “sexual orientation” and “gender identity” and issue rules relating to an individual's beliefs about gender and sexuality.

Strongly Disagree

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Agree

There should be strict enforcement of federal and state laws prohibiting the distribution of obscene pornography, including over the Internet.

Agree

I support tolling existing highways that have been previously un-tolled.

Strongly Disagree

Government should not discriminate against individuals, organizations, or business owners who affirm marriage as between one man and one woman.

Disagree

Marijuana should be legalized and regulated like tobacco and alcohol.

Strongly Agree

Considering these issues (social, economic, education, transportation, water or sewer), which is the most critical to our city?

Did not answer

Please list up to six issues or projects that you feel need the most attention, in priority order.

1. Mental health care access, including 100 new city-owned clinics available to all citizens regardless of ability to pay, available on a walk-in basis, open 24 hours/day. 2. Air pollution, especially exhaust emissions from automobiles. San Antonio will lose millions of dollars in compliance to federal mandates to clean up the air. We need aggressive efforts to limit the number of cars on the streets and highways on a daily basis. 3. Traffic congestion: We need a driver's education program to change the way drivers navigate the city and inexpensive infrastructure changes to make sure that traffic flows and rarely ever forms into massive traffic jams. 4. Water Usage: We need to maintain year round water restrictions and not wait until the aquifer levels go down. Large companies should not be able to use automated watering systems. 5. Clean Environment: We need to ban plastic bags and plastic water bottles, and reduce the use of herbicides, fertilizers, and pesticides.

I own one or more firearms.

No

I support the use of Collective Bargaining.

Strongly Agree

I believe the current City Manager should be replaced.

Did you contribute 10% or more of your gross income to charity last year?

If you own a business, please describe.
