Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?
Under the current understanding of the constitution the government's responsibility is to make it safe. (at least for the mother)
What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers in the Constitution?
Power corrupts, that's why our founders system of checks and balances works so well. No one should have too much power. Also since most of our founders came from countries with state sponsored religion, they knew first hand how mixing politics and religion can corrupt both.
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
That's a very personal question. I was born and raised a Roman Catholic. I even went to a seminary for a few years. Since then I've mostly lost my faith. I've tried different religions always meeting nice people, but not finding what I'm looking for. I guess I'm egotistic. I have friends who are believers and they tell me you just have to believe, no one can do it for you. I also have friends that are atheists. They know for a fact there is no lord. I find that very baffling. How can you know anything about something so far above us?
Considering all issues (social, economic, national security, etc.), which of these best describes you?
Liberal
Please defend your answer to the previous question by referencing your publicly available track record.
I don't like either word Liberal or Conservative. I believe in saving natural resources for future generations so I'm not conservative. (see what I mean?) I firmly believe we the people need to take our government back from the special interests that hold it hostage. I believe the scientists are probably right about climate change, they usually are.

Additional comment from candidate:
I'm a retired factory worker who believes in America. The only real reason I'm running was to get the Green Party on Missouri's ballot. I firmly believe we need more options at the ballot box! For way too long we have been asleep, letting the government do what ever they wanted. We need to take back our government. I canvassed for Bernie Sanders three days in Iowa and a couple more in Missouri canvassing my home town of Macon. I was a Bernie delegate to the Missouri State Democratic Convention, where we voted on a very progressive platform and sent four progressive Missourians to serve on the DNC. At the same time I was helping bring together the Progressive Party of Missouri and the Green Gate Way Alliance, so we can have a Missouri Green Party. I believe everyone should get involved with the government. Even if you make one phone call a day, it makes a difference.
