The U.S. military should wait for militant Islamic groups to directly threaten our national security on our shores, rather than eradicate them now wherever they may be worldwide.

The United States must maintain a nuclear arsenal that is safe, reliable, modern and numerically superior to those of potential adversaries.
Agree
I support legislation such as the First Amendment Defense Act (FADA) that would prohibit discrimination against individuals, organizations and small businesses because of their belief that marriage is only a union of one man and one woman.
Agree
The federal government should establish Common Core as a nationwide academic standard for high school graduation.
Strongly Disagree
I oppose the resettlement of Syrian refugees into the U.S. without proper vetting.

Current regulations on domestic oil exploration and drilling are more restrictive than are necessary.

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?
Abortion should be allowed under circumstances of rape, incest, and when the life of the mother is in danger. Abortion should not be a means of birth control.
What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers in the Constitution?
Man's nature to dominate others. America's Founders identified the very nature of man, that which is to control and dominate and determined that a government balanced and overseen by its constituent parts would function slowly and in the best interest of those it represented.
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
Conservative-reform Jewish. Family, country, community. I am a firm believer in the simple concept that charity begins at home and that we must take care of ourselves before attempting to help others.
Considering all issues (social, economic, national security, etc.), which of these best describes you?
Somewhat Conservative
Please defend your answer to the previous question by referencing your publicly available track record.
While I have not served in Congress or other representative capacities, it is my position that the US Government and States for that matter are limited by the people that founded them and that social matters are best left for the states and that fiscal, immigration and defense issues are the responsibility of the federal government. Government in general should be left to the matters identified and limited during its creation and should not be allowed to extend itself into areas that traditionally are left to society to decide.
